Our clients at the Port of Long Beach have ambitious plans to make a lasting, sustainable environmental impact. The Port’s Pier B On-Dock Rail Support Facility – a $1.567 billion state-of-the-art facility – will “…increase velocity in container movement by rail and move more cargo by rail, the Port is well-positioned to handle cargo growth, prevent supply chain delays and reduce emissions associated with Port activity into the future,” said Mario Cordero, Port CEO.

2024 a Pivotal Year for New Pier B Rail Facility After more than 15 years of planning, the Port of Long Beach is going out to bid in early 2024 for its first construction contract to begin building the Pier B On-Dock Rail Support Facility.
