Knee joint MRIs are used to diagnose a wide range of conditions affecting the knee, including:
Soft tissue injuries:
Torn ligaments: ACL, MCL, LCL, and PCL tears

Fractures (sometimes not visible on X-rays)

What is a fetal MRI?
A fetal MRI is a noninvasive imaging test that offers detailed information about anatomic structures of the fetus, providing clear, high-resolution images. MRI, which stands for magnetic resonance imaging, uses a magnetic field, rather than radiation, to obtain pictures for evaluation. In an ultrafast fetal MRI, images are quickly captured using a “snapshot” technique.
Fetal MRI can supplement the information obtained from your high-resolution fetal ultrasound and can provide additional information regarding your baby’s diagnosis. It is performed in the 2nd or 3rd trimester of pregnancy. This type of examination is used to evaluate abnormalities in your baby's brain, spine, and body. MRI may be used to confirm an ultrasound diagnosis or add significant diagnostic information in complex cases.

From a patient’s head, neck, spine, chest to all extremities. Our Hitachi Aries ll open magnet offers clear images for the doctor and a calm non-claustrophobic MRI experience for the patient. The unique design of this MRI allows us to accommodate ALL TYPES of patients, even physically large and claustrophobic patients and is ideal for elderly and sedation sensitive patients. A microphone and speaker system allows communication with the technologist during your entire exam. For your enjoyment you may listen to a CD of your choice and bring a companion to sit with you during your entire exam.

Magnetic Resonance Imaging is a non-invasive diagnostic tool used by physicians to look inside the human body. Useful clinical information can be obtained, leading to early detection and treatment of disease. Incorporating advanced technology, MRI produces images of the anatomy without the use of radiation. In some situations, this exam can reduce the need for further procedures, such as exploratory surgery or other invasive procedures.
