We are participating with to help keep sneakers out of landfills. Bring your used (but not destroyed) sneakers to the studio and we will ship them to be recycled and reused. He also recognized, however, that our lifestyles have disrupted our ability to move with ease and efficiency. He developed the PIlates Method of Contrology based upon the Pilates Principles to help us get back to moving effectively!

Quality of movement is everything and in our course, Pilates in Motion, we want to teach you how to move with quality. Whether is is at the barre, chasing your kids through the playground or walking on guided tours through historic cities, we know you do not want your body to slow you down!

Yoga Nidra is back this Sunday 2/25 and there are only two spots left!

The practice of Yoga Nidra is one of deep relaxation where you hover between wakefulness and sleeping. The practice is done completely lying down while the instructor guides you by voice into a deep, meditative state. This powerful and ancient tradition will assist you in releasing stress and promoting relaxation. 45 Minutes of Yoga Nidra can be equivalent to 4 hours of deep sleep. This particular practice will be focused on self-care and self- nurturing.

*Please come in comfortable, warm clothing and bring anything you may need to feel comfortable (i.e. blankets, pillows, bolsters, etc), as you will be lying on your back the whole time.

Feeling that extra post-holiday winter weight? While we love the tone and core strength that Barre gives you, it’s also important to get your heart rate up to burn those calories. Try our HIIT Pilates class on Mondays and Wednesdays at 8:15! We utilize the principles of the Pilates method, combined with High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) set to powerful and upbeat music. Not only will you get your heart rate up and your sweat on, but you will be guided through each movement with focus on precision and alignment. All levels welcome!
