This post has nothing to do with baking 😆 but also has everything to do with my future baking business!!

This will be the most bittersweet post I share with y'all. The time has come to let y'all know...I'M GETTING MARRIED! 🥰😍🤩🥰

This is the sweet news. The bitter news is, I'm moving to Texas!🥲🥲🥲 Which means I'll only be baking a few more weekends (9/9, 9/23 & 10/7) before I have to start packing up all my baking tools to move to Texas.

I can't tell you how my heart breaks in so many ways to say goodbye to all of you. So many of you have stuck around to order my fresh baked goodies for the last 3 years and saying thank you just doesn't come close to expressing the gratitude I have for each one of you trusting me!! 😭😭😭😭😭

I hope these last bake day weekends will be special. I'll be taking as many orders as I can, and for my final bake day in October, I'm thinking of doing something different so I get a chance to say goodbye to as many of you as possible!!🥹🥹😭😭🥹🥹🥹

If you know, you know!! 🤩🤩 These marranitos/puerquitos will be the new special for this weekend's menu!

I had a few practice rounds baking them, and I'm *finally* pleased with how soft, fluffy, and packed with flavor they are!

These Mexican ginger-molasses cookies are shaped as piggies (so CUTE) and are a traditional cookie you'll find in Mexican panaderías. 🇲🇽 They are the PERFECT companion to a cup of coffee in the morning!👌👌

Did you know??? I'm the granddaughter and great-granddaughter of bakers?!😊

My paternal grandfather and great grandmother started a bakery that grew into a chain, from scratch, that became one of the best recognized bakeries in Costa Rica 40+ years ago?

Although I didn't get a chance to know my grandfather well before he passed away and learn from him everything he did to start, run and systematize a European style bakery chain in Costa Rica, I certainly do feel his entrepreneur blood runs through me. 😊

2) Check out my BRAND NEW gluten free, dairy free (vegan) chocolate cupcakes! They are hands down the BEST GF cupcakes I've ever had (and believe me, I'm SUPER picky!!) 3) Being that it's the last weekend of the month, that means it's cookie weekend (a new trend I'd like to make a habit)! I'm offering my two softest cookies which you can mix or match in your order!
