Transformation Tuesday!..
Haven’t seen this sweet client in a few years. She had been slowly going lighter with another great stylist. Today, we decided her hair could handle going even lighter. The process from dark burgundy red (what she had 3 years ago) to blonde needs to be a slow and gentle process.

Wow the way adding some warmth to this beauties hair makes those green eyes glow!! This hard working mama hasn’t seen me in over a year! She had almost completely natural hair! We darkened her base up and added some face framing highlights to give her some pops of vibrancy! I’m in love with how this turned out for her. Check out that before pic.

2. She had black natural roots, mid way done permanent color light brown color, and blonde highlights from mid hair down.

MAKEOVER MONDAY
Huge change for this beauty!! Some things to think about when going from blonde to red:
- how committed are you to staying red? Red is a high maintenance color that requires more up keep than blondes actually. They tend to fade faster than normal color which means more frequent visits to the salon for a glaze, better product to keep it vibrant, and less washing.
-Are you going to want to be blonde again in the summer? In a year? The process of going back to a bright blonde is not an easy one and will take time. Expect to have some transitional color in between. Coppers, golds, etc..

Want to know a secret? Some of my best blondes are actually only need a face framing highlight which is only around 9 foils
WHAT!?! I know. Maintaining the integrity of the hair is my #1 priority and sometimes I can get
the results a guest is looking for without having to touch up the whole head.

I'm not a fan of harsh lines of demarcation. I want all of my guests to be happy with their color,
even between visits
