Hello, friends! It has come to my attention that there are many people who want services, but in the past my prices have been too high to afford. More than a business, I want you to come to me as a human being and know that I enjoy helping you to feel like you can be your most beautiful and authentic self. Because of this, I have lowered my prices for the foreseeable future.
My main reason for having higher prices in the past was to achieve a goal of mine. I currently work from home part time and although I love and adore my home studio, I would love to one day have a studio or spa of my very own that isn’t tied to my residence. This hasn’t been a very large goal of mine by any means, but by having higher prices it allowed me to have a larger cushion to work with once the time came that I could move my business elsewhere.

As time has passed I have a different goal in mind: making my services more affordable for those who will cherish my work. In this industry all the time I hear that what I do is a luxury, and although that’s true, what I do is SO much more than just a luxury service. This is my passion, my craft, something I love. I also love people and I want to be able to share that love and what I do as much as I can.

A ✨virtual consultation✨ is something important I do to ensure the safety of myself and my clients.
Because I am a home-based esthetician and provide intimate services, it is important for me to connect with my clients before we first meet in person. This allows us to get to know each other and make sure we are both comfortable and happy!

Sometimes a client will come to me with a skin concern that is out of my scope. By doing a virtual consultation beforehand, it’s easier for me to refer issues out to a dermatologist. This ensures you get the best treatment you can and don’t waste your time or money.

Lastly, it gives me a better understanding of what your expectations are and allows me to share mine. Maybe it’s your first time getting lashes done and you don’t know what to expect, or you feel nervous about what facial products I use and want a better understanding of what you’re getting into. No matter what it is, I feel like these conversations are better done before your first appointment!

A virtual consultation is a free and mandatory service for first time clients and only takes about 15 to 30 minutes.

As we get into 2024 there are so many things I am grateful for! There’s been some new traffic here on my social media so I want to take a minute to introduce myself.

My name is Lindsay Anderson and I am 24 years old. I am located in Oak Park, MI and am a home based esthetician. I live with my fiancé, Jacob, and our basset hound, Elby. We are adding another basset hound to our family later this month and are very excited!!🥰🐾

I am also a nanny part time to two wonderful little boys, they are my best friends! Prior to esthetics I have a large background in early childhood which I love so much. I’m grateful to be able to juggle having my own business and having an impact on the lives of these precious boys.♥️

As most of you know I’ve been in esthetics school for almost a year now and I have been doing lashes for about two years! Given my current experience I have decided to increase my prices!
I graduate at the end of May and I feel that with my improving knowledge and skill level this is necessary. These prices will NOT increase after I graduate and am licensed but will remain the same for quite some time. With that being said, Lindsay May Esthetics is one step closer to becoming an “official” business! I will be moving to the Royal Oak/Ferndale area as we get closer to summer.
