For day 3 of employee appreciation week we bought bulk flowers and assembled 25 vases with bouquets for a local assisted living. It was fun getting a little creative.

Rikki Getz PA-C also took a turn at checkin. We have learned so much about each other’s responsibilities.

Awww! It is so rewarding to get letters like this from our patients. Taking care of people is why we’re here, and getting a reminder like this is such a gift.

We are so excited to welcome a medical student this month. All of us learned facts from books and lectures, but invaluable wisdom from our preceptors. We feel strongly that it’s an honor to help the next generation.

Amanda is originally from Saint Paul, Minnesota. She graduated from Creighton University in 2018 with a BS in Biology. Prior to starting medical school, she worked as a medical scribe in both orthopedics and emergency medicine. Most of her family lives in the area and many of her favorite childhood memories were summers in Traverse City! In her free time, she enjoys playing volleyball, spending time with her pet rabbit Jacque, and pursuing her love of nature.

She is not pictured here; but we have another future Spartan.

….and some mornings are crazy and I walk (hobble) out without my lunch, so I rely on my snack drawer at work. Balanced diets can look many ways!

Reminder that we have same day appointments for urgent needs, but if you think you have an injury with a broken bone, urgent care is the way to go!

I used to think “are you taking new patients?” asked by a current patient was the highest compliment I could get. But now, “are you hiring?” asked by a friend of a current employee tops the list! I’m so proud of the work we’ve done.
