Nutrition is THE foundation when it comes to fitness. Poor diet leads to lack of results (aesthetically and performance wise), can hinder recovery and can even promote injury.
CrossFit is more than workouts, it’s an all encompassing lifestyle.

We intentionally walk our athletes through a cool down after every workout.
Here’s the why:
•Regular stretching improves joint range of motion by 20% or more
•Mobility work increases muscle elasticity, reducing the risk of injuries by up to 50%.
•Flexible muscles allow for greater power output during workouts and enhanced athletic performance.
•Incorporating stretching and mobility exercises into your routine improves posture, balance, and overall body coordination.
We also recommend that you work on some of this on your own time, especially if mobility is limited.

FAQ: What does a typical class look like?
Each class is 1 hour long and we move through the entire class as a group. We start with a general warm up then a specific warm up! We'll then start some technique work, skill and strength training and then move to the main course, the metcon (metabolic conditioning). We end with a simple cool-down and fist bumps.
Try it out! - It's not as scary as it looks. ⚡️
Quarterfinals, here they come 👊 Congrats to these three athletes! It is no small feat to be considered the top 10% fittest in the world. It takes a lot of hard work and determination on their part. Give them a high five next time you see them 👏

The 2023 NOBULL CrossFit Games season kicks off with the CrossFit Open, a three-week international competition where anyone — regardless of fitness level or ability — can compete in the biggest fitness competition in history. The 2023 Open will take place from Feb. 16 - March 6.
What to expect if you register:
⚡️Fundamental, scaled, age groups (teens and masters), adaptive athletes, and RX options available for the Open workouts each friday!
⚡️Workouts released on the Thursday before each WOD
⚡️Make sure you register under Seven Springs CrossFit as your affiliate in order to be grouped with your gym!
⚡️Separate hashtag-based leaderboards will be available for teachers, military service members, healthcare workers, firefighters, college students, law enforcement officers, and hundreds of other professions, interests, and groups, so you can see how you line up in your profession!
⚡️The leaderboard will be searchable by continent, country, or user-generated hashtags. For example, athletes can search for the fittest in South America or Switzerland
⚡️Each Friday Open WOD will be "judged" by a coach or athlete that has taken the CrossFit Judges' Course (don't worry, this is a fun part!)
Seven Springs CrossFit:
⚡️Friday Night Lights!! Every Friday of the three week long stretch: Normal morning and midday operating classes. Evening classes will be adjusted for Friday Night Lights!!
⚡️You don't have to be registered in the Open to participate in FNL, but it is encouraged!
⚡️We will be doing the Open WOD in all of our classes each of the 3 Fridays, so plan your Friday to come to FNL to get it in with the entire gym, or if you can't make it, just come to an earlier class!
⚡️Makeup Open WODs can happen simultaneously in a Saturday class if you missed the WOD on Friday (you have 4 days to get each Open workout logged, if you register in the official CrossFit Open)
