“This is the longest my hair has been being this light!” ☀️

This client had me color over a blalayage with LEVEL 2 about a year ago! (I knew it was a bad idea) and here we are wanting to be back blonde! 😂😂

This is our second session of lightner. We used high riser pre-bonded on both sessions. Honestly that lightner is a LIFE SAVIOR! Even though we only did a Demi for her dark it is still a process to go back light. We were both so happy with the outcome on her blonde. I can’t thank her enough for following at home care and appointment time. Her last Blonding session was about 10 week ago.

Swipe for the before! Do you see the “brownout” on her red? We used her same base formula, 6RR, 6RV 20 volume. HOWEVER, We pulled through SoRed RV and RR 30 volume on her mids and ends!

I love to mix up touching up her ends with direct dyes and SoRed. This time it needed some more TLC for sure!

•Fun fact; my first services done as a licensed hair dresser was a friends wedding! I have strayed away from them as I’ve specialized in hair color. It’s exhilarating to dip my toes back in the water for doing updos!

It’s back to school time!!

A little about me. My name is Bethany, and I’ve been doing hair for 8 years now. I am in LOVE with my industry! Let’s talk going dark!
Just like going light, it can’t happen in one step. Going so many levels light or dark takes time. This lovely lady wanted to get rid of her beautiful blonde balayage and go dark brown. We had to fill her hair with RED first to add some missing pigment. We will most likely need to see her for another session or two as this fades over time. The best way to prolong this color would be to use sulfate free shampoo and cool water.

Let’s talk grey blending!

Grey hair is so stubborn! It is some of the hardest hair to cover. My client wanted low maintenance and a natural look. She doesn’t like that harsh line of demarcation. We wanted to reduce some of her white in front to blend into her natural. I would call this a WIN!
