Columbia Gorge Kiwanis Club
Service to Community and Youth Leadership Our club is comprised of individuals from Corbett, Troutdale, Gresham, Portlands, and Oregon City.
While the initial goal was to bring neighbors together in service, the club has evolved into serving many areas -- wherever we can serve, especially children. Find us on the web at www.columbiarivergorgekiwanis.org.

The Kiwanis of the Columbia Gorge has answered the call for the need for warm jackets for the children in our comunities. (The jackets are very nice and stylist. ;) Young boys and girls sheep skin lined jackets in their requested sizes for both Troutdale Elementary and Sweetbriar Elementary School. This is a core value of Kiwanis is to meet the needs of children in our community. We co sponsored with our fellow Kiwanis club Ross Island Early Risers.
The Kiwanis of the Columbia Gorge hosted the annual "Veterans Appreciation Day Breakfast" at Corbett Multi-Purpose Room in Corbett. Although it was a blistery windy and wet day, many attended as we served well over 100 visitors. At least 35 veterans of all the branches of service were in attendance with their families. Free breakfast, raffle prizes were given to the veterans. All 4 high school key clubs were in attendance to help and interact with the veterans as well. (Gresham, Reynolds, Centennial and Corbett) We had the Color Guard by Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), A ceremonial coin was presented to the Kiwanis Club by VFW as well along with the Missing Man presentation and the Quilts of Valor. Many heartfelt messages were given by the veterans. We also had many other fellow Kiwanians from other clubs join us along with our Kiwanis Lt Govenor 😃 We had a wonderful day!
