On Tuesday, Sept. 10 we welcomed members of the Troy City Council, county and state dignitaries and area Cricket leaders and enthusiasts to break ground on what will become a state-of-the-art Cricket Field right here in Troy! The new Cricket Field coming to Boulan Park has been 20 years in the making, and thanks to community support and a $900,000 allocation from the State of Michigan (thank you Rep. Sharon MacDonnell!) it is now becoming a reality. This will be a regulation size field with a scoreboard, dugouts and a screen wall. It will also hybrid pitch surface; the first of its kind in Michigan. This field will also be eligible to be certified by the Michigan International Cricket Association.

We expect it to be a playable field in spring of 2025.

We want your feedback!

A random sampling of 2,000 Troy community members will soon receive a survey in the mail (if they haven't already!) regarding the services the City of Troy provides. By filling out this benchmarking survey we, as the City, can better understand how to best serve our community.

For those who don't receive the statistically valid survey in the mail, don't worry, you'll have you're chance to provide your input in the coming weeks...stay tuned!

The City of Troy is working with Cobalt Community Research to facilitate this survey.
