Dear Families,

Our families, here at Boone and Lincoln, are simply amazing and just love to help our teachers in any way. If you would like to donate to your classroom teacher's E-Wallet, and help him/her build their classroom library, click the link below.

I know any donation, large or small, is incredibly appreciated and valued by not only the teacher, but also by all the kiddos in that classroom.

Thank you to all our Leopard and Tiger families, for supporting our library and our entire school!

MASL is a conference where you'll find librarians honing those future ready library skills!

Together, we are gathering great librarianship insight, witnessing book award ceremonies, talking to authors, networking, meeting our professional heroes and being surrounded by librarians who are working so hard to give our kiddos the librarians they deserve.

The learning never stops! We can't wait to implement some of these great ideas with our Troy R3 kiddos!

Library Website - Battle of the Books 03/28/2023

Every March, many of our Troy R3 libraries compete against each other in the Battle of the Books! This year, Wentzville School District joined us in our competition, and together, our libraries brought 18 teams to the competition.

It was an amazing day of knowledge battling, laughter, and appreciation for literature!

A huge thank you and shoutout goes to Moscow Mills Lions Club for their hall contribution to this grand event!

Big congrats to our top three teams. WCE brings home the gold. Lincoln Elementary scores a silver and TMS lands the bronze.

Check out our Battle of the Books page and see more of the action!

Our Love Your Library Program continues!

We still have 36 students with fines.

Thank you to all those that donated last week! You can't even begin to imagine the excitement our kiddos experienced as we told them what the community is doing for them!

If you would like to help, the most perfect way to love on our libraries is to help our little library goers. By sponsoring a student's fines, you are not only easing families' financial concerns, but you are offering an opportunity to replace books and help our libraries continue to grow.

We are incredibly grateful for your sponsorship and your partnership with the library. Your partnership supports our young library lovers, erases their fines, and truly helps promote a love of reading. From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you.

Snow is falling and books are calling ๐Ÿ“šโ„๏ธ

There's SNOW place like the BLE and HPE Library! ๐Ÿ“–

We are off to a wonderful start in Library Tech, here in the New Year. We've began reading challenges across the schools, listened intently during storytimes, practiced with audiobooks and tonieboxes, began typing units, and researching using databases.

Our library is home to not only books, but all things technology. Our kiddos love to collaborate together on projects, read in our quiet corners, and play board games together.

In our library, we are tinkers and engineers, lifelong learners, and powerful readers, builders, creators, and innovators.

Thank you to all our parents, grandparents, guardians, and students for making our Christmas special!

Animation in the Library!!!

Third grade worked so hard this week, zeroing in on digital animation. We worked with two different programs, learning about various forms of digital animation and building characters. You might even catch some of their animations on the Library Website!

This week we celebrate Hour of Code!

In the library, we want to give our students places to learn, explore and play through coding, we want to teach them with engaging and exciting resources throughout the week, and throughout the year.

โ€œHour of Code" is a global campaign designed to get students interested in computer science โ€“ the skill that programs our modern world.
