Do I have anyone in my FBnetwork who has access to a small wood chipper that I can borrow or rent for use at our Disc Golf Course? I know I can rent from the big box stores, but wanted to check with my network first. We have a four-wheeler with a hitch, so bonus if you have one that can be towed by an ATV. Thanks in advance!!!

Having technical issues with UDISC at the moment, but I did move a good bit of the pins at Humble Tree Disc Golf Course, including the debut of TWO new pin locations. Hole B has a new long par 4 position and hole 12 has a new sharp left pin position. Enjoy the new locations as you may see them at the !

As soon as I get past these technical issues I will post an updated layout!

I was able to blow off a good bit of the leaves and create some clear paths on holes 10-15. I also tried to clear around each pin. I will try to do the other wooded holes this week, BUT, if you have time this week and gas powered blower, we could use your help on any of the wooded holes to make some clear paths where you can have some sure footing. The foot traffic does help, but not enough where it tramples down the leaves.

Also, I cleared a good bit on the right side of hole 12, so visibility from the tee to the new pin is much better. There were some older debris piles near this new pin, but those are now pushed further down the hill.

New layout at Humble Tree Disc Golf Course thanks to Sam McGinnis and this time, we have a new twist to one of the holes.

As an experiment, hole 2 will be played to old 3's basket coming in just under 300 feet uphill. Be sure to check and follow U-disc under "Sam's Turkey Challenge (Rec) and (Advanced)".

I hope to secure the new tee boxes over the next few days, but please be careful in the meantime.

More cool things happening at Humble Tree! I put out the new turf teeboxes out today, but I have not secured them completely, so please be cautious when playing the new holes. This includes A,C, and D.

Hello! This Sunday, October 29th, the course will be closed for the CrossPoint Fall Festival. So, instead of playing, bring your family instead for a lot of fun, free food, and candy!!!

Course got a fresh cut today! Thank you to all who play and enjoy the course with family and friends! Grass is super thick, but we made a nice “Augusta-like” path for hole 15. Enjoy!

We cut the upper field at the course today and will get the main field taken care of tomorrow, weather permitting.

Layout Updates: Baskets moved on holes 7, 9-11, 15-18. UDisc has been updated for both AM and PRO layouts called “Blazin Birdies (July 2023).

🌴🐅BONUS SAFARI LAYOUT 🐅🌴has been added to UDisc make things even more interesting. Check it out!!! It’s a 13 hole combination of holes with some of the normal included. Big arms should love this 🙂.

New pin location for hole 9 is finally in the works. I have had my eye in this spot ever since we opened! Also, more clearing and widening the future long fairway of hole A. Tee pads are in the works!

Thank you to Corey Sizemore, our new Minister of Recreation, for cutting the course this past week! It looks awesome!

The advanced layout in Udisc is back! Up for a challenge? Try the layout that incorporates the 3 long pads on holes 7, 11, and 14 (par 4). More advanced pads for EVERY hole are in the works, too, so stay tuned! Let's see how you do!

Also, I worked the past week or two cleaning up the wooded holes from a higher point of view. Meaning, I finally got my hands on a pole saw and went to work. So, hopefully, you will enjoy tee shots with cleaner lines in the woods! 😎

A new updated layout is now on Udisc called "Humidity Is Here!" with just a few pin positions moved from the last layout AND just in time for this Friday's Tour De Ham Flex Start by Dynamic Discs Iron City!

Please remember that the newer holes are still a work in progress and we are still trying to pinpoint exact tee box locations. They are as level as we can get them for now.

If you are interested in helping in ANY way (BEGGING!!!), please message me or call me at 205-218-1557. We have been carving out two new fairways for harder tee box locations on holes "9" and "B". Most of the trees have been cut in these areas and the limbs just need to be moved out of the way.

Thank you to my favorite son, Mason, for helping me make quick work during lunch to level out a new temp pad on Hole C!

Again, we heard your feedback and are testing out a new teepad location on the new holes. This pad is fresh, so it may be a little lumpy here or there, but we will keep working and tamping it as flat as possible.

It's amazing what moving it up 30 feet will do in how you attack this hole. It's a fresh look and very scenic, so please take pics, post, and tag us!!! Let us know what you think!

NEW ADDITIONAL PINS on HOLES B, C, and D have been installed and the baskets are now set in these new positions. UDISC has been updated as well.

Here are the new distances:
B - Short - 240 ft
C - Short - 270 ft
D - Short - 203 ft

Next on the list of to-do is clearing the areas around the new pins (Spraying down some of the brush, and removing more of the debris). Also, I am going to begin moving C's temp tee box to the crest of the hill. Finally, we should be able to finalize where the permanent tee boxes will go.

The field with holes 15-18 has been cut. Sorry it has taken a bit, but we will get the upper part cut as soon as we can. The field needed it the most 🙂. Thanks again for everyone playing and I have a few new surprises in the works this week if the weather cooperates, so stay tuned! 😉.
