Screeeeeaming congrats to another historic moment for the Bombshells. Congrats to founding member A’riyah on becoming a TMS cheerleader. This has been a goal of hers since starting her cheer journey. As a mom, coach, and owner the task at hand was to always invest and put you in position to be successful. So many times over the years you didn’t understand the “Hard” parenting, the “Hard” coaching that had to be made. But remaining disciplined over distractions is key. Hey Social Media Families,

Many of you may know that a year ago, we were blessed to open our own competitive cheer and tumbling gymnasium (God is so amazing🙌🏽) We
are up and running, but there is still so much we still need to stay a float to keep up with gym maintenance , bonding activities, team banquet, coaches fees, routine upgrades and much more.

Please support our cheer team! They are working so hard this season and deserved this new home and extra opportunities! We have been in the gym every day of the week and things are really adding up, but we are giving the girls an opportunity to learn new skills and to be off the streets and out of trouble.

Our gym has also given parents the ability to safely drop them off and not have to worry about them. We have an AMAZING staff🥰

We have a big season ahead of us and it’s VERY expensive to do what we do.

We won our Nationals last season in Orlando with Mini Team and our goal is to get back to Nationals this season with ALL of our teams to make you all proud. This comes with a high ticketed price.

A’rielle and Jahmaya

Both girls displayed a very high intense level of hard work last month. Pushing through tough mental blocks, overcoming defeat, remaining a team player, possessing a winning spirit and determined to master the skills needed to have a positive impact on this season. No matter how many times these ladies fell, they found a way to get back up and keep going. They were team players exemplifying grit and grind.

This 4 week program is designed to focus solely on tumbling basics, strengths, and flexibility. This class will also include training on the basics skills such as cartwheel, handstand, backbend, forward roll, backward roll, back limber, roundoff.

Choreo Day for the Sassy Sapphires!! We want more in Season 4 😍

This week we did an Inside Out Themed practice where the athletes had to wear a color from the Inside Out movie to describe their first week of school. Most represented the emotion color “yellow” meaning JOY.. there were as they explained they were a bit nervous on their first week.

Red= Anger
Orange= Anxiety
Pink= Embarrassment
Blue= Sadness
Purple= Fear
Green= Disgust
Yellow= Joy

We love all of the emotions and this was also a fun learning lesson for our staff as we learned all about their first and second week of school through their colors. The key was letting the athletes know that we are here for the them and it’s ok to have those emotions but we are working with them on any obstacles or challenges they may have. We all know that it takes a village😊

Who said learning can’t be fun!!

P O W E R F U L! Jordan Chiles was ready to quit gymnastics. She had been passed over for big assignments year after year due to lack of consistency. The environment was toxic, and many in the gymnastics community had written her off. But Simone said, I see you Queen. In 2019, Simone invited Jordan to relocate from Washington to Texas to join the gym that she OWNS- a safe space with a positive environment. When Jordan arrived, the first thing they worked on was not building her skills but instead building her confidence. Two years later, Simone and Jordan are headed to the Olympics together. This is what we mean by lift as you climb. Trophies are nice but the biggest flex is winning together and creating an environment where others thrive too!

Thankful for life and the opportunity to experience my days with my Bombshells Elite Youth Cheer & Dance cheer family. God has blessed us tremendously💜

Thankful for the opportunity my company has provided and afforded me to be able to do what I do for the families that have joined my program. We’ve been able to create so many memories and experiences including traveling the world🌎 .

I’m thankful for all of those who supported me taking our elite team on a team retreat last week to bond, mentor and pour into them. It takes a village and we are grateful for our village.

I’m thankful for our staff for putting in countless hours with our program and kids. I’m truly at a loss for words🙏

I’m thankful for my amazing husband for backing me and supporting me with all of what I do for not just our girls but the entire program. He’s also our builder, our handyman, our driver, our personal security, our chef, our entertainer and our personal life coach.
Thank you hubby for doing this ride with me💜🤝🏾.

I’m thankful for all of the families who’ve made a decision to join us this season and those that decided to weather the storm with us. Every day isn’t peaches and cream as we are growing and learning, but they are committed to believing in our vision and mission. Thank you for sharing your fun-loving kids with us.

Thank you to Ashley Smith for working hard with me to build this program. It’s truly been two great years in the making. You’ve been the rock to making this all happen💜. Your hard work and dedication has never gone unnoticed. I’m so glad that God doesn’t just use perfect people.

He used Paul who was a murder

He used Thomas who was a doubter

He used Noah who was a drunk

and he’s using Tamekia Smith, who is still under construction🤞🏾💜

The most important part of coaching is seeing growth in your team. We are far from where we want to be, but we are nowhere where we used to be. Brick by brick, layer by layer we are going to accomplish something special. These girls all have something about them that’s unique. They each have a gift. A great coach and mentor will do everything within their power to believe in them enough to help them see their true gift and operate in their true potential no matter how tough it is. Dealing with this generation of kids these days are not for the weak. It’s a different level of playing field for how I grew up that’s for sure, but God doesn’t call the qualified, he qualifies who he calls. So use me Lord. I understand these young ladies you send to me are all apart of my assignment.

This weekend really owes us nothing!

The job doesn’t stop here. We have to keep pouring into our youth and believing in them until they see what we see and they believe in themselves. That’s the mission.
