When I started Real Estate, I went through a few select friends who lived in the Tucson area because I thought I may be able to help them buy a house. Buying a house is the biggest purchase you will make in your lifetime. It can be a very scary thing.
If you are buying your first house you either ask a friend/relative what realtor they used, or you rely on a house search and you are assigned a Realtor based on biggest advertising budget (realtors pay to get referrals).
For those of you who don't know I worked in IT for 21 years. I got sick of doing the same thing day after day for another person.
