In 2016, wheelchair tennis pro Bryan Barten met coach Joop Broens, revitalizing his career. Since then, Barten has achieved significant victories, including defeating the world’s top player. 🎾

Brent Brennan was a member of the legendary Dick Tomey’s staff in his final season as an eager 26-year-old graduate assistant who was beginning his own coaching journey.
Now, following the Wildcats’ best season since 2014, Brennan is back in Tucson as the head coach of a program dear to his heart. 🏈

The countdown until Homecoming 2024 begins.❤️ 🌵
Thomas Lovejoy was a dynamic Yale-educated ecologist who founded the Thomas Lovejoy Amazon Biodiversity Center in Washington D.C. where he advocated for the sustainable use of the forest and trained the next generation of conservationists to protect it. 🌱
Thanks to a $5 million gift, the new UArizona Lovejoy Center will honor his legacy and love for biodiversity by carrying forward his passion.

Monsoon season is in full effect! 🌧️
Arizona’s monsoon season, typically starting around June 15 and continuing through Sep. 30, consists of higher humidity that can lead to thunderstorms, heavy rain, high winds and flash flooding.
Monsoon brings relief from the dry heat and can provide some of the most beautiful sunsets of the year due to the cloudy sky. Although, monsoon can be dangerous for the unprepared and uninformed. Stay safe! ❤️
Jim Click is well known in Tucson for his generosity as a philanthropist. After being introduced to David Herr-Cardillo, then-director of the university’s adaptive athletics program, Click gained a passion for supporting adaptive athletes.
In 2023, Click and his wife Vicki committed $6.5 million to adaptive athletics. The funding will allow the collegiate program to expand its recruiting efforts and support its elite athletes.
This April, Click celebrated his 80th birthday. When asked about his legacy, he says, “I want to be known as a good guy who cares about the community.”
