Three Points Fire District
Proudly serving Diamond Bell Ranch, Robles Junction and Three Points Communities!
Another very hot day is in store for southern Arizona, as high temperatures tie or break all-time records for many locations. Wear lightweight, light colored and loose fitting clothing and please drink plenty of water.
As a reminder there is no burning allowed! There is a burn ban in effect.
Good morning. There is a burn ban in effect until Sept 5, 2023. We will not be issuing anymore burn permits. Please do not burn anything.

Never forget 9/11/01.
Here is the latest look at 24 hour precipitation amounts through 12 PM. Most valley locations have averaged from about 0.25" to 1" of rain with the mountains seeing as much as 4 inches of rain. Shower activity the rest of the day and into tonight will be more isolated to scattered in nature with brief downpours expected.
Everything is still on track for a very active afternoon through evening period with multiple rounds of showers and thunderstorms capable of producing heavy rain and flash flooding.
Remain weather aware and never drive through flooded roadways.
Remember to avoid flooded roadways and to have an alternate route.
⚠️Flash Flood Watch is in effect late this morning thru late WED night⚠️
💭What should you do?
1. Have a way to receive important weather info
2. Monitor the latest forecast
3. Plan ahead for potential flooding issues including detours due to flooded roadways
Expect another round of showers and thunderstorms today. However, the potential for heavier rainfall increases on Tuesday into Wednesday and a Flash Flood Watch is in effect. Take care on the roadways and around normally dry washes.
⛈️🌵The next active monsoon period is on the horizon. We will have the added moisture from the remnants of TS Nora to work with early next week which will lead to increased storm activity & higher flash flood concerns.
Stay tuned for updates as details become more clear!
