Saguaros are everywhere in Tucson—in our deserts, yards, storefronts, and signs. This iconic cactus has become a beloved symbol of the Old Pueblo.

Audrey Scheere, founder of Old Pueblo Curiosities on Instagram, has been documenting saguaro icons for over a year, discovering hundreds of examples ranging from sleekly modern to whimsically humorous. In this workshop, you’ll create your own cactus-inspired designs and explore how the desert influences design. Whether you’re an experienced creative or a novice, this workshop has something for you!

Run Tucson, a local running event organizer, engaged Cirrus to redesign their collection of event logos. What a pleasure! Especially since most of their events feature scenic routes through some of Arizona’s most popular tourist destinations. Cirrus developed a visual identity that incorporated the existing style of each event while maintaining consistency as a group.

The result was fantastic as evidenced by their latest brochures that we printed to be on display at upcoming events.

Happy St. Paddy’s Day from Team Cirrus! ☘️🌈

Join us for “Hi! How do you Doodle?” an inspirational presentation given by Cirrus’ Art Director, Chris Carls. More than just a drawing lesson, we’ll explore sketching as a means to learn how to SEE, be more MINDFUL and even get better at DRAWING.

Chris will present methods founded in the book “Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain.” We’ll practice turning off the logical left brain while we freely explore space and lines - liberating our mind and engaging our senses.

EVERYONE is WELCOME to this FREE event hosted by Creative Mornings in collaboration with Cirrus Visual.

You are welcome to bring your own supplies, but all participants will receive a complimentary pocket sketchbook. Chris will be discussing the benefits of keeping one with you at all times to enhance life through sketching.

Vail School District recently hosted Vail Pride Day, a huge event that brings the school community together for performances, art displays, showcases, booths, and so much more. Check out the logo we created for their Dream Stream project and collection of banner stands we produced to showcase their robust educational programs.

Cirrus is hosting Local First Arizona’s monthly business mixer this Wednesday, March 6, 2024. This free event is open to non-members. Join us for an evening of networking, inspiration, and education as we explore the endless possibilities of design and print marketing. There’s only a handful of type face designers out there and we had the amazing pleasure to host one of the best, Laura Worthington, to speak to a group of creatives this week at Cirrus.

Laura blew our minds as she presented her work and shared amazing stories about her career as a type face designer. She’s responsible for bring us beautiful fonts such as Origins, Beloved, Sheila, Adorn Smooth, Voltage and 200+ more! She shared that it can take months of intricate work to create a single font with all its variations.

She’s done fascinating projects for well-known national brands. We’ll go ahead and throw Cirrus onto the list as Laura designed Ed’s Market Script which is one of the main fonts we use in our branding. So cool!!

Thanks to Laura for sharing the evening with us and to our “font family” that came for the presentation.
