Tonight, NCPA gathered together at FMSC and helped pack 157 boxes of food, feeding 97 kids for a year!!!! So great to rep UA RKCCOP and volunteer for a good cause this holiday season! Thank you to all who came out tonight 🤍🤍

NCPA is volunteering with the Ronald McDonald House to cook dinner for families in need! We believe in helping those who are struggling in hospitals and want to do our part to take a load off their stressful plate with a home-made meal. We are looking for 4 people to help us with this event! Link in bio!!! (Covid vaccine documentation and masks required) Because it only allows 6 people due to COVID precautions in place, it will be a first come first serve for volunteering and you will be notified that we’ve confirmed your sign up 🙂

Another successful health fair completed at Pharmacy Day on the Mall. Our NCPA Tucson Cholesterol Coordinators along with many other coordinators, pharmacists, and volunteers provided screenings and patient education to many patients at UA Main Campus. Keep being that positive impact in our community!

The University of Arizona R. Ken Coit COP student NCPA chapter was able to provide cholesterol screenings during the annual Tucson Binational Health Fair at the Tucson Consulate of Mexico. This event is designed to provide underprivileged individuals within the Tucson community with necessary health screenings at no cost to promote individualized patient health advocacy and health literacy within the community. During this event, our NCPA Tucson Cholesterol Coordinators (Mikayla Gerdes, Raquel Martinez, and Connor Holloway) and volunteers helped conduct approximately 35 patient screenings. In doing so, coordinators and students collaborated with Pharmacists to provide patient counseling as a way to educate and empower the patients regarding their results and lifestyle changes, they can implement and incorporate into their lives. This event represents the commitment NCPA had for promoting patient care and will stand as a life changing experience for all involved.

Calling all popsicle and donut lovers!! NCPA will be having a popsicle/bake sale on 9/22 and we are bringing the goods to you, so no need of worrying about having to get into your car to get to these sweet treats. Our Tucson campus will be selling popsicles courtesy of in the W.O.W from 12:00 - 1:30 and our Phoenix campus will be selling a variety of baked goods courtesy of our amazing Phoenix E-board members. Be sure to stop by and support, you DO NOT want to miss out on these sweet treats!
