We've hired a muralist to paint a mural on our new building! We will also be changing our signage to be artwork instead of our company name. While our team has already voted on the mural, to beautify our lovely city, we thought we would share all of the awesome renderings with you and keep you guessing on which one we selected. It was definitely hard to choose only one of these designs. Now that our team has voted, we're excited to see it all come to life! Stay tuned and be on the lookout for an upcoming open house announcement!

After over 8 months of stringent hoops, hurdles and rigorous examinations of everything under many hoods, we are excited to share that we finally have a new home for TCR! While we are grateful for the nearly 20 years at our current location; to say we have outgrown our office space is an under statement. We will be moving to our larger location on December 12th and will be sending out emails and postal mailings to announce our new address soon enough. We anticipate this new location to be our home for the next quarter century and we feel it will allow us to better serve all of our awesome customers, while creating some additional opportunities in our world. Our new address will be: 1159 N Craycroft Rd. Tucson, AZ 85712.

You know some mighty important things are happening when this book comes off the shelf and is dusted off! There are many nicknames and acronyms for our Corporate Book (aka: BB, OCB, BBB, Black Satchel, ACB...to name just a few). BB has the important job of recording and storing copies of all things legal and binding. It even has a very official Corporate Seal Press within it's contents which we play with every time BB comes out for business (and play..who are we kidding). 🤣 While this book doesn't travel everywhere we go, like the President's briefcase, we'd like to acknowledge the myth of BB's existence and we'd like to thank BB for nearly 25 years of valuable service, storing the most precious docs! We look forward to sharing some exciting news that BB is now safe guarding very soon!

As previously announced, we have more exciting news to share. We'd like to take this opportunity to introduce Dylan Smude to our wonderful family and team! You may have already had the opportunity to work with Dylan, as he's been part of our team since the beginning of summer. Dylan brings a wealth of knowledge and professionalism to our culture; which we are grateful for. Please check out our website to learn a little more about Dylan and his interests!

We will be closed this Thursday June 1st and Friday June 2nd (don't worry, we will have coverage for any emergencies). All of our hard working team and their families will be joining for some out of town R&R, nature, games, music and team building!

As promised, we have some very exciting announcements to make this year! One of our very first ones to make is that we just finished the process of onboarding approximately 80 clients from 3 local IT firms! Lot's of exciting announcements today! Today, we also celebrate 10 years of business partnership between Chris Compton and John Matzek. Chris and John first met while working at Microsoft back in 1996 and later started IT businesses of their own. They officially joined forces on April 27, 2013 and blended their unique talents and common core values to transform the company into what it is today! Stay tuned for more exciting news that we are eager to share about expansion and relocation!

We're excited to welcome a new client to the TCR Family - The Arc of the United States. The Douglas chapter recently hired us to perform an upgrade to their wifi-system that will provide residents internet reliable access. The Arc is the largest national community-based organization advocating for and with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, serving them and their families. With over 100 residents in this community, it was a wonderful opportunity for us to help support their community and the mission of the ARC.

Our team installed access points, cables, new switches and wireless controllers, and had the network up and running in a days time. Thanks DARC for entrusting us with your IT and network needs!

Our guru tech of 8 years, Keve Smith, has been out of the office traveling to Sapa Vietnam and Thailand! He went to highest point in Indochina and made it up to 12k feet. We’re glad he’s back, but he had an amazing adventure!

We couldn't be more excited to announce that Stan Newton has joined team TCR as our CFO, and all around mastermind! He has extensive experience in finance, and a long career successfully helping businesses grow and thrive from their own niche, and into new territories of success.

Upon 'retirement' in 2005 he set out to continue empowering businesses and their teams to build strategic, mindful operational transformations to help them increase baseline performance, and break barriers. We have some exciting new projects on the horizon, and are overjoyed to have Stan on our team. He is both a pleasure to be around, and a wealth of knowledge. Help us extend a warm welcome to Stan!

In celebration of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, we wanted to share this thoughtful post from our long-standing clients and friends at Family Housing Resources. Like MLK Jr, they envision a community of equality. We were honored to be invited to the Arizona Fire District Association (AFDA) annual conference in Laughlin last week. Our team offered a workshop on Elevating Fire District Security and Readiness, in which we discussed how fire district staff can leverage IT best-practices to protect themselves, and our communities, from hacking, cyberattacks, and ransomware through proper policies, training, and security.

What we find so neat about the AFDA, is that over three decades ago, a small group of fire district leaders met in Tucson to discuss the need for a statewide organization for Arizona’s fire districts so they could better serve the public – you. Now, the thriving AFDA consists of 148 fire districts, and thousands of professional first responders, who provide fire, emergency medical, and emergency services to 1.5M Arizonans. To serve the greater good, the AFDA continues to provide education and development for the state’s 600+ elected fire district officials, fire chiefs and other senior decision makers within Arizona fire districts. They provide continuing-ed, conferences, and many other resources to ensure fire districts are adequately resourced, governed and administered to optimize the way they serve our communities.

We are GRATEFUL to have the AFDA here in our homestate, working hard to make sure that we the Arizonans are best served. We provide IT for many of AZ’s fire districts, and hope to continue to serve many more in the coming years.
