Today marks Alpha IV Therapy’s 1st birthday and I’d like to share a long winded post about this journey with you all.

After dedicating 12 years of my life to emergency medicine, both on the ambulance and in the ER, I have seen firsthand the tragic consequences of preventable health issues spiraling into critical emergencies. Each day, I encountered patients whose lives were turned upside down by conditions that could have been avoided with proactive care. This constant exposure to preventable crises fueled a deep-seated desire in me to make a change—to shift the focus from reaction to prevention and empower people to take control of their health before it's too late.

At 17, I enlisted in the United States Army, driven by a calling to serve my country. Over 13 years, including two tours in Afghanistan, I learned the value of resilience, leadership, and the profound impact of service. The Army taught me to face challenges head-on, to lead with integrity, and to always strive for excellence in the face of adversity. These values are the foundation of everything I do, from my military service to my work in emergency medicine, and now, as I venture into entrepreneurship.

The decision to open Alpha IV Therapy was born from this journey—a mission to help people be proactive about their health, to prevent the preventable, and to offer solutions that are accessible and effective. I want to create a space where health and wellness are not just reactive but an integral part of daily life. Our clinic is a reflection of our passion for helping others and our belief that everyone deserves the opportunity to live their best life.

As I transition into entrepreneurship, my goal is not just to run a successful business but to use this platform to make a meaningful impact on as many lives as possible. Our journey over the past year is just the beginning of what I envision for Alpha IV Therapy. I am driven by a desire to scale this venture, expand into new locations across the United States, and continue serving communities by offering innovative health solutions.

Our "why" is simple yet profound: to empower individuals to take charge of their health before emergencies arise, to build a legacy of service that extends beyond the battlefield and the ER, and to create a ripple effect of wellness that reaches far and wide. By growing as an entrepreneur, I aim to amplify this impact, not just in Tulsa, but across the nation, fulfilling my mission of helping people live healthier, more vibrant lives.

One of the most valuable lessons I’ve learned over the past year is the importance of having a strong team. Starting a business comes with countless challenges—something people always talk about, but you never truly understand until you’re in the thick of it. It’s not just an obstacle here or there; it’s multiple hurdles every single day. There’s never a day without them. But I’ve also learned that it takes a dedicated team to push through these challenges and keep moving forward.

I can wholeheartedly say that Brent, Chris, and Veronica have been in the trenches with me, making this dream a reality. Each of you has made sacrifices, helped make key decisions, and worked through every obstacle that came our way. Your support wasn’t just during the highs, but more importantly, during the lows—the parts of this journey most people don’t see.
You are my family, and I’m so grateful to be building something truly great together. Thank you for standing by me, for your commitment, and for being there every step of the way.

Lastly, I want to thank all the people who have trusted us to take care of them in our clinic. We care about each and every one of you and we are honored to be able to help you and your loved ones feel your best.
