What a memorable night at Tulsa Signature Symphony. The symphony, corale & conductor were amazing. Traditionally they recognize all service men & women & veterans present at this concert. And last night the conductor made a special announcement that Major Fred Burki USA Ret Decorated WWII veteran 🇺🇲with 23 years of service was in the audience and asked Fred to stand.

What an absolutely wonderful tribute for our family. ❤️
Then unexpectedly the entire audience stood & gave Fred a standing ovation!!! 👏👏 It brings tears just recalling it.😭
No filming🤳 allowed or I would share his surprise & appreciation.
It was an unforgettable moment for my mom & family.
He is just one of many who sacrificed for our country. Too many giving the ultimate sacrifice.💝
So this Independence Day 🇺🇲 find a vet or someone currently serving & shake his or her hand, give them a hug of thanks. They served for YOU.❤️🤍💙 They served for Amerca.🇺🇲 They served for the freedoms we enjoy & sometimes take for granted.
Yes, God knows, we have our problems. But we are America the Beautiful. Today take time out to appreciate all we have & what others bravely fought & died for.💝 We owe them a debt we can never repay.
