We will be featuring The Family Jones Distillery products with a representative from the “family” speaking on them while our guests enjoy their sample sips. The Family Jones Distillery has brought a delightful lineup of products to the market for your libational enjoyment: 4 of the most well-made ready-to-drink cocktails that we’re sure are replacing the “real deals” in certain parts and 4 incredible spirits with the Juniper Jones Earl Grey Gin being one of the most beautiful spirits we’ve ever had the pleasure to imbibe. Still don’t believe us? Couldn’t get to Polo Grill to taste at the debut? Okay. Come try for yourself with Derek Guilin of the Family Jones team this Saturday, August 19th, from 1–3 PM. Greetings once again, Vinsiders! Grand Vin Bottle Shop is back with some more of that new “ish!” Isn’t that what all you twenty-somethings were saying 10 years ago? From the house that brought forth the notions of vintage Champagnes and modern-day Brut Rosés, V***e Clicquot debuts the “Rich” line: a citrus-driven Champagne sporting a bright floral bouquet and creamy finish, made entirely with the idea of combining ice and one fresh ingredient to your flute full of bubbles! Finally, a wine you don’t have to worry about your mom adding ice to—perfect. Don’t worry, in case you don’t know what to add to your Champagne, V***e got together with master mixologists to pick out the perfect ingredients to naturally enhance the wine’s flavors: pineapple, grapefruit zest, cucumber, celery, peppers or tea! It even comes with card offering suggestions. The Rosé shows even more depth and versatility to additional flavors. I wonder what the Grande Dame would think about this? 🤔 Come get a couple of bottles and see what you like to add to it! Cheers!

Let’s keep the newness rollin’, shall we, Vinsiders? The boat just came in on these delicious Japanese whiskies from Mt. Fuji Distillery, located right at the foot of Mt. Fuji. The misty locale limits visibility of the massive peak to just about 1/3 of the year and this cool, humid, highland climate with moderate temperature changes is ideal for making whisky. What is really interesting about what they’re doing at Mt. Fuji is that they make various whiskies—predominantly American (Bourbon), Canadian & Scotch-style whiskies, as well as a single malt Scotch-style—all with the goal of staying within the house style of “pure & mellow”: purity in flavor, exquisite depth of character, and smoothness. These whiskies are always made with the people in mind. Not wanting to make Bourbon, Scotch, etc., these offerings fit the culture and tastes of people living in Japan and enthusiasts worldwide that also enjoy that style. When in Rome, err, Gotemba. What should you get your mom for Mother’s Day, Vinsiders? If you were anything like me as a kid, your mom would appreciate something alcoholic to help her remember why she brought you into this world. Start the day off with a wonderful glass of Champagne, follow that up with a great glass of wine, and cocktails before dinner! We’ll get you the perfect bottles to show proper appreciation to the matriarch of your family!
