⭕️The pups turned 2 weeks old yesterday!! 🤯😭🥹
⭕️we will continue our ENS thru 16 days old & We had our very first deworming!
⭕️Most of these guys have their eyes open,are toddling around, & are starting to go to the bathroom without their mommas help- so it was time to introduce them to the idea of having a sleep/play area & a potty area- and this will go a long way towards potty training! Dogs have a natural instinct to p**p and p*e away from where they sleep and play- and now that they’re up and moving around more on their own it was time to encourage those natural instincts!! 🤍🤍🤍

⭕️ I have started a waitlist & will start accepting deposits this upcoming monday (at 3 weeks old!)

Today the pups are 3 days old and we started ENS! (Early Neurological Stimulation)
We will do this every day from now until the pups reach 16 days old!
PUPPY CULTURE:
What is ENS, and what are the benefits?
ENS is Early Neurological Stimulation!
What are the benefits of ENS?
⭕️Greater tolerance to stress
⭕️Greater resistance to disease
⭕️faster adrenal system
⭕️stronger heart
⭕️stronger heart beat
If you stimulate a puppies’ neurological system- you can change the puppy in a positive way for the remainder of its life!
What does ENS consist of?
ENS consists of 5 exercises:
⚫️Tactile Stimulation-we take a Q-tip and tickle the pup between its toes for 3-5 seconds- research shows this kind of stimulation stimulates the pups tactile system which is the skin of the puppy- this excersize wakes it up
⚫️heads up- hold each puppy with their heads up and tails down for 5 seconds- and this will let blood drain from their head, and their neurological system will recognize that, and tell the heart to pump blood back up into its brain so it can maintain equilibrium.
⚫️head down- hold the pup with their head down for 5 seconds- now too much blood is running down into the brain and this makes their neurological system work in a different way bc now there’s a different problem
⚫️supine position- put the puppy on its back to the count of 5-and most will fight this, but the neurological system again is being challenged and being told to go to work
⚫️thermal stimulation- take a wet wash cloth, wring it out and place in fridge for 30 minutes so that it’s plenty cold, place the cloth on the table and place the pup w 4 paws down on the wash cloth to the count of 5, pup won’t like it but we’re making the pups neurological system respond to a temp change in their body
Why do this when I as the breeder handle them plenty? Well, there’s a ton of research that says handling puppies and stroking them lowers their blood pressure but, stimulating their neurological system is different and these are exercises and stimulations that the puppy wouldn’t get in normal everyday handling🐾🐶❣️
