Fulfilled Motherhood Co.
Individual Counseling & Coaching for Moms.
Help with overcoming anxiety, depression, overwhelm, mom guilt & building confidence for moms who are pregnant, postpartum or in the early years of motherhood.
It’s possible to get into a space where we keep trying for more more more. We keep improving, we keep learning, we keep striving - but in the midst of striving we stop being present for what is.
While working so hard to “be better” we miss the beauty right in front of us - including our our growth.
Goals aren’t bad. Growing isn’t bad. Improving & striving isn’t bad.
But it can’t be the end goal. If we are always working for more we will never feel good enough.
The first year after having a baby & the years raising little ones are FULL of change & challenge admits the joy and love. It’s built in opportunities for growth & reflection. If all you’ve done this last year is raise your babies & keep going - that’s an accomplish in and of itself 🤰🏻👩👦
Take some time today, whether you’re making new goals or not, to appreciate where you are, who you’re with & who you are ❤️
You are wonderful, as is!
Community — one of the most important things for emotional health 😍🥰

Now to declutter, clean & make space for my sons new toys in our tiny Denver apartment ❤️

You can be a good mom and miss sleeping in.
You can be a good mom and miss what life was like with your partner pre-kids
You can be a good mom and miss things about your pre-kid life.
It’s actually REALLY NORMAL to grieve parts of your life from before kids. It’s part of the transition to motherhood known as Matrescence.
The only problem is we’ve been conditioned by the media & society as a whole to think this so wrong. To think it makes you a bad mom. To think it’s only you.
It’s not just you mama. & it’s okay.
OCD has two parts:
🌸 obsessions - thoughts or images that come into your head over and over again when you don’t want them (am I a good enough mom, my baby is going to stop breathing, what if I run out of breast milk)
🧸Compulsions - an act, either external or internal, like rechecking a mental list over and over or checking the monitor or avoiding something that temporarily eases the anxiety & makes you feel better about the obsession.
This occurs in a cycle - the obsessions comes, you do the compulsion (which can include avoidance, like avoiding caring for your baby and letting others do it if you don’t feel good enough). The anxiety eases temporarily (sometimes just for a minute, sometimes longer) and then the cycle begins again.
Therapy can help so much with OCD.
Acceptance and commitment therapy (which I love) & Exposure and Response Prevention (which I’m currently learning about) are amazing therapy modalities for Perinatal OCD!
If you’re a mom looking for therapy - ask your therapist what modalities they are using! A good therapist should be able to tell you.
I’ve made a free guide about navigating intrusive thoughts for moms as well - grab it in my bio or comment “guide” and I’ll send it to you!
If you’re a therapist looking for training - come to my ACT for Perinatal Mental Health Clients training on 12/14 or my Ethics with Perinatal Mental Health Clients on 12/7! Comment “training” or send me a DM & I’ll send you the info 😍
AND is one of the most powerful words I’ve learned in motherhood.
Replacing BUT with AND helps me let go of guilt.
AND helps me make space for myself while also acknowledging all of my other responsibilities
AND creates more space & freedom - BUakes me feel small, guilty and like there isn’t enough space for me in motherhood.
Give it a try - I hope it helps ❤️
Healing isn’t linear.
I think this is the hardest part of going on any healing journey - having to realize that there may be days where you feel like you’re back at square one but that doesn’t mean you’re doing it wrong.
Many of us are healing generational traumas & making space to heal while balancing work/parenting/the mental load.
It’s not easy.
I’ve created a workbook to help you in your journey.
Inside the workbook you will find the SIX strategies I teach therapy clients who are looking to overcome anxiety in their motherhood. You will know how to respond to anxious & intrusive thoughts and anxiety in your body - & have specific skills you can use right away. I’ll walk you through how to use each one, which strategies could be most helpful in different situations and give you the education behind why these strategies work!
Therapy can cost $150+ an hour & this workbook is only $12! Grab yours today to add to your anxiety toolkit 😄 Let me know if you want the link!
Fellow Therapists!
Come join me in December for CEU trainings you won’t fall asleep during 😂❤️
My trainings are LIVE - INTERACTIVE - FUN & ACTIONABLE.
We talk about theory & all the info you need to know and then spend the majority of time talking about how to actually use this stuff in the therapy room with clients.
If you want to attend a CEU training where you will walk out with actionable techniques & strategies - this is for you!
If you want to play something in the background with your camera off just to get your hours there are plenty of other trainings out there, but this isn’t it!
I hope to see you this December! ❤️ Reach out with any questions.
Hi 😃
Reintroduction post ahead..
🌸 I’m Kylee! A licensed therapist & budding herbalist passionate about women’s wellness, mental health & motherhood.
🌷 I started studying herbalism last December through the & have fallen in love with the idea that we can use plants to support our bodies & our wellness.
🤰🏻I own Fulfilled Motherhood Counseling & provide 1:1 therapy to moms in Oklahoma & Colorado.
🧠 I’m currently exploring ways to integrate herbalism into how I support mamas & families - but still in the idea phase, so for now I’ll be sharing herbal wellness info here, continuing my studying & creating things behind the scenes 😍
👦🏽 I am a mama to a super rambunctious 5 year old, married to my college sweetheart (who prefers not to be on social media too much) & enjoying life in Denver ❤️
🪻I started studying herbalism to help myself & my family with health problems that doctors just weren’t helping with. I’m not anti medicine at all - but think herbs can be a great compliment to supporting overall wellness!
If you’ve followed along this long - I’m glad you’re here ❤️❤️ leave me a comment with something about you that I don’t know!
Some days are low energy days & that’s okay mama!
❤️ you are worthy and a good mama even on days when you are feeling tired, burnt out and need to rest.
❤️ you deserve love and the time to love yourself well.
❤️ your needs matter mama

As a new mom I worried about…
✨ what am I going to do when he’s walking & getting into everything, the house is already a mess.
✨ idk if I’ll be able to handle the tantrums - I’m barely handling things now.
✨ how are we going to navigate school & drop off - am I a bad mom if I don’t homeschool?
Anxiety is a tricky thing, it causes us to focus & worry about the future instead of being present in the life we are currently living.
I thought I needed all of the skills & knowledge now for my child, even though we weren’t anywhere near that stage yet.
It’s been freeing to shift my mindset & realize I’m just like him. Learning & growing as a mama everyday. We can grow alongside each other, we can figure it out. I don’t need all the skills or all the answers right now.
Do you worry about the future mama? Do you struggle with being present & feel like you’re not doing enough?
First off - the fact that you’re worrying means you’re doing a lot. You care. You show up. You do your best. You’re an awesome mama.
Second - if you’d like some support to be more present, to feel less anxious & build friendships & support with other mamas - come join my online community for moms just like you - ❤️The Fulfilled Motherhood Collective.❤️
✨Each month inside of the collective we meet for a group coaching call, you have an audio style podcast lesson on a topic to help you feel more calm & confident as a mama (past topics include improving body image, overcoming anxiety, letting go of mom guilt & more) & journal prompts to help you apply the lesson to your life & mindset.
Registration closes at the end of the month! The price is only $22/month (less than the cost of one group therapy session). ✨✨Join today at the link in the comments ✨✨
Are you a new mom looking to feel more confident, joyful and relaxed? Join the upcoming 6 week small therapy support group to be in community with other moms and learn healthy tools for thriving in motherhood.
Present.
When was the last time you were truly present with your kids? With your family? With yourself?
So often we are multitasking, going over a to do list in our mind & we are robbed of the present moment.
It’s no wonder we struggle with being present as mamas - the expectations we place on ourselves & that are placed on us by others are impossible!
But - we can learn to be more present & we can get back some of our joy.
Tips to be more present:
✨ plug your phone in somewhere you won’t see it when you’re at home. Turn the ring volume on if you need something, but stop carrying it around.
✨ just go sit on the floor in your kids room. Bring some tea or coffee if it helps you feel calm. Take some deep breaths & just observe what they are doing/saying. Make it your mission for the next 10 minutes to just be there. If you get distracted, it’s okay, just bring yourself back.
✨ go on a mindful walk. Notice the color of the trees, any birds you see, how the sun feels, what’s going on around you - get your kids involved!
If this resonates with you - I’d love to invite you to come join the Fulfilled Motherhood Collective.
We officially open the doors this week & I’m calling in mamas overwhelmed w/the status quo of motherhood & ready for more calm, more connection & more confidence. If this is you - send me a DM & I’ll get you an extra special discount & let you in early before everyone else joins in a few days!

Are the holidays the happiest & hardest time of year for you? They used to be for me too.
I found myself wanting to do all the crafts, go to all the things, attend all the gatherings & had such a hard time saying no.
Every year I ended up:
✨ feeling frazzled
✨ being short with my son instead of present
✨ saying yes to too many things & feeling guilty for saying no
✨ sacrificing my own health & sanity in order to make the holidays “great” for everyone else (hint hint, often they didn’t ask me too!).
If you resonate with this & find the hustle and bustle of the holiday season to be TOO MUCH sometimes, I want to invite you to join my 6 week group program for HSP moms all about thriving during the holidays.
Introducing….
The HSP Mom Holiday Mentorship Group!
We will meet together 4 times over November & December, you’ll receive 6 video trainings covering topics of boundaries & communication, nervous system regulation, overcoming overwhelm, self care, overcoming mom guilt & more all tailored to applying these principles to the holiday season.
The goal is to equip you will tools, community & personalized Mentorship & support so you can make this holiday season the calmest, most enjoyable yet!
The group is only for five participants & these spots will go fast! If you’d like to join us sign up at the link in my bio or send me a DM.
It’s $400 for the six week group & there are payment plans available. 💕
Let’s make this the best holiday season yet!
You may be a highly sensitive mom if…
✨ you notice sights, sounds, smells & little things others often miss. Sometimes these things drive you CRAZY!
✨ you find you have big emotional reactions to things (happy or sad) that others think are disproportionate to the situation - you have BIG feelings!
✨ you process things deeply - this could look like spending lots of time pondering a decision, taking longer than others to make a decision or having trouble answering things ‘on the spot’
✨ you feel overwhelmed quickly in situations most others seem to tolerate (radio on & people talking, baby crying & someone talking to you, listening to a podcast & your child tries to talk to you).
Most HSP moms I meet or work with tell me they feel exhausted. Our modern demands of motherhood are just TOO MUCH for us as HSPs.
Learning to simplify your space & schedule, learning skills to regulate your nervous system & finding community with other moms is the answer to take you from stressed, anxious & overwhelmed to calm & confident in your life & motherhood.
A group program (only 5 spots!) is in the works & will be announced soon & launching just in time to give you support for the holidays. If you’d like to get on the waitlist to find out more - send me a DM!
Let’s Talk About Grounding.
Grounding is the practice of bringing yourself back to the present moment to help relieve stress, anxiety and overwhelm.
Grounding helps me stay centered as a highly sensitive mama because I’m often
overstimulated by kid noise, TV, the hustle and bustle of daily life - you name it!
Here are my THREE favorite grounding activities:
🌳Going to a park and noticing all the nature.
🧍♀️Taking three deep breaths with my hands on my heart and belly.
🌿Putting my feet on the ground, breathing deeply and scanning my body for any tension or pain. Breathing through the tension and imagining that space in my body relaxing and releasing.
If you're a highly sensitive mama looking for support to create emotional wellness, build kick ass self confidence and overcome overwhelm and mom guilt in your motherhood - send me a DM! My signature 1:1 program The Highly Sensitive Mom Mentorship is currently full, but I have TWO spots open for September. Send me a DM & we can book a free call together to see if the mentorship is the next right step for you!
What annoys you the most - TV noise in the background or someone tapping a pencil??? Let me know in the comments!
