Please understand that I do not work 24/7. If you text me on my days off it is at my discretion when to answer. Most often I will reply that I will get back to you on a work day so that you aren’t left hanging.

If you’re are texting to change an appointment 12 days out I am going to assume that I have a little time to figure out where I can put you. Especially when your schedule is challenging due to your work travels or personal obligations.
•I reply on day off
•I work to find you a place on my work day
•I reply with an answer on my next day off after hearing back from a client willing to accommodate you & your needs. (Which she didn’t have to do)
3 days…. 3 days, 2 of which were my off days. Only to be told that you booked an appointment with someone else.

I like you am allowed to have personal time off from my job.

This being said it is with a heavy heart I need to inform you that my dad has been diagnosed with cancer. So now my off days will be spent tending to him, his appointments, and the plethora of things he attends to here on our property while he heals from surgery and chemo/radiation.

Please find it in your hearts to be patient with me as logistically this is something to be dealt with but also emotionally. Your support emotionally and financially means more to me than ever during this time.

But that being said if you find it in your hearts to leave now. Well….

This weekend someone broke into our salon & rummaged through everything & took my scissors. I’ve had the same scissors for almost 20 years. I know it seems so silly to be attached to such a thing. I’m grateful they dropped the pair my parents gifted me for Beauty School graduation. In a moment where it’s easy to think people are so awful & ugly…. A lovely client and friend reminded me it can still be a great week.
