I had the pleasure of working with a new client who was wanting to go blonder and achieve a platinum color. We were so close to reaching our goal! Carefully, I lifted her hair to a level 9, and then applied Shades EQ 9P and a subtle hint of 8VG to create the perfect tone. The end result is truly beautiful!

Major color correction! Believe it or not, this color took 8 hours. I want to be completely honest, there were moments when I felt defeated because the end results didn’t seem to reflect all the time and effort I put in. However, on days like this, I remind myself that I am committed to giving my clients 100% effort and not taking any shortcuts. This client came in last week with previously colored hair. Our goal was to enhance the brightness of the bottom and face framing pieces while also adding low lights to bring dimension and depth to the top. When it comes to blonde hair, we aim for a noticeable and vibrant look. However, incorporating low lights is essential to make the blonde color stand out even more!

If only you could see this color in person! We lifted her to a level 9, with some stubborn parts at a level 8, and toned it down to a deep charcoal ash. Due to some stubborn warmth in her hair and based on the lighting, it may appear more warm, transitioning to a deep ash brown color. The color is expected to fade beautifully over time. Trust the process! 🖤
