This month marks 26 years doing what I love, helping people buy and sell real estate! I would have never believed the blessings that I would receive when I left being a court reporter 26 years ago. There are many reasons why people buy and sell, and they are not all happy occasions, and it can be extremely emotional and heartbreaking as well. It's not all the glitz and glamour they portray on TV, but I can't see myself doing anything else. I enjoy meeting people and hearing their stories and helping them navigate the process and make it as smooth of a transition as I possibly can. I have made many friends that started out as clients. realtors, inspectors, closers, lenders, mentors, and so many other people along the way and I appreciate and value every one of them. I could not do what I do without each and every one of them. There is so much that goes on behind the scenes to get a deal closed than just opening a door and showing them a home, and the support system and people you have in place is so important to be successful in completing the process. I want to thank my family for putting up with the phone to my ear on vacations, nights, weekends and having 1 phone call turn into 10 to get things taken care of. They would always say, "See you tomorrow" when the phone rang. In the beginning, it was running out to meet clients at 10:00 at night to hand off a contract to get the deal done! Thank goodness we now have technology and can do it by computer! All this to say, thank you everyone for supporting me and letting me follow my passion of helping people and making so many friends along the way. Although I have enjoyed all the awards and recognition throughout the years, helping people is my passion and greatest reward!
