Guess what? I get to work with my bestie errrrrryday. We clock out when we say. We get to play in hair and makeup products. Show our style. Laugh, tell stories, watch people smile when they look in the mirror. Yes, it’s so fun.

What you don’t see in this pic: this was our second headshot photo shoot out of three that week. We overcommitted to get great content and it just fell on those dates. We had worked half a day, rushed to this shoot, left to do more hair and makeup, had a wedding the next day before our next shoot, worked after. Our email count was around 536, 3 calls to return, 6 contracts to review, 12 clients to reschedule, laundry. So much laundry. Long hours, because we can’t say no and let our clients down. Parking meter ticking, another vendor to connect with, send a quote to two clients, order more product we were running out of, create a video, look cute, coffee. So much coffee. Be a wife. A mom. A daughter. A friend. Oh. Post on Instagram, a reel, a story another story. Find good music for the next reel.

We love what we do. But grace is a powerful thing you can give your vendors. We are all the things for our business. Allllll the things. We choose to do it because we love our clients. We wouldn’t do anything else.

Grace. So much grace. We appreciate it more than you know.

A makeup tip that many people might not know is the concept of "color correcting." Color correcting involves using opposite colors on the color wheel to neutralize or balance out specific skin concerns. For instance:

- **Green:** Green concealer can be used to counteract redness, such as acne blemishes or rosacea.
- **Peach/Orange:** Peach or orange correctors can help to conceal under-eye circles on medium to dark skin tones.
- **Lavender/Purple:** Lavender corrector can counteract sallowness or yellow undertones in the skin.
- **Salmon:** Salmon or pink-toned correctors work well for covering blue or purple undertones in fair to light skin tones.

Our studio is a sanctuary for us. It is where we can create and laugh and reminisce.
