A team of five mechanical engineering students won the prestigious Consortium for the Advancement of Shape Memory Alloy Research and Technology (CASMART) student design competition in Portugal.
The UTulsa team beat such top universities as the University of North Texas, Iowa State University & Northwestern University.

Help us congratulate Provost George Justice ๐ is pleased to announce that Provost Justice has received a 2024-25 Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program Award to visit France with the International Education Administrators Program. He will spend two weeks in Paris and one other region in France.
๐ซ๐ท The Fulbright Program consists of briefings, campus visits, appointments with selected government officials, networking and cultural activities and meetings with French international education professionals.
๐ In addition to his role as provost and executive vice president for academic affairs at UTulsa, Justice is a professor of English, specializing in 18th-century British literature, and is the author of How to Be a Dean.
June is Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) Awareness Month.
This summer, doctoral student Melody Robinson is working on a research fellowship through the Minneapolis Veterans Affairs Medical Center, where she's conducting veteran-focused research on issues like post-traumatic stress disorder, su***de risk and prevention, traumatic brain injury, cognitive aging, and more.
