Today's the Day! 🤙

12 years ago...I worked In Auto Upholstery Shop that had a 1 man Body Shop.
I did details on that side of the shop periodically..and would help him out when I could.
That 1 man was Oldskool Painter.."DEE" or Deebo! 🤣 He also operated the Classic Tulsa Dels Body Shop after Del passed Away.
Dee...nicknamed me The "Polish Monkey" back then.
Said I'm always polishing...look like a monkey swingn around....🤣

Fast Forward to Today! I decided to move forward with The Garage Time Polish Monkey!
I commissioned Ben Mitchellaka Drag Daddy to collab with on ideas for my new Garage Time Mascot!
I've been a fan of his artistic values and a fan of CARtoons Magazine Automotive Humor 🤙
And he delivered it personally while visiting his family in Tulsa Today!
He hit it out of the park!💯
The 2 cars depicted in this image.. Darryl Starbirds BIG T which is the 1st of his Iconic builds that I was blessed to work on!
And the Purple Merc...which this year Michael Larson aka "Mercury Mike" commissioned me to get it polished for its spot @ The Garage Museum in Salina.
The owner of The vehicle passed away. The Widow, friends of Mercury Mike...had him bring it to Salinas Leadsled Spectacular this year where I polished it in 105 July Temps!🤣 Either way....I thank everyone for supporting my love for what I do! POLISH 🐒!
