The day my 26-year-old son passed away my life changed forever. Children aren't supposed to pass on before their parents. I was still processing the death of my mother who passed away exactly one month before my son.

I was fortunate that I found a grief support group within several weeks of the loss of my son. Here I was able to feel safe and openly share my feelings with others who were grieving the loss of a loved one as well.
