The Story Of Blondies
Blondies began in Abergavenny, S. Wales in May of 1981 when Maggie and Maria Morgan had a dream to open a unique boutique that would offer upscale clothing at a reasonable price something that was greatly lacking in this small village in South Wales.
Blondies was opened a month after Lady Diana and Prince Charles were engaged, the doors were opened with the window displaying the only replica of Lady Di’s amazing tafata ball gown that she wore for the engagement.
Unfortunately in 1999 Maggle lost her fight with lung cancer, her mother had also past from breast cancer at an early age and Maria was now living in the States. Blondies original location closed in 2021.
In 2010 Maria decided she wanted to get back into the fashion business. Due to the loss of both her mother and grandmother to this terrible disease she decided to do something that would benefit both surviving patients and also help to find a cure for this disease.
Blondies continued legacy began on Nov Ist, 2010 and specializes in Swarovski
crystal tanks, accessories and more.
