Here are a few items I’ve created over the last 2 days.

I guess I picked the wrong weekend for my Home Show. It’s been super slow…slow as in 2 sales in 2 days. 😢

I hope this isn’t a precursor of the coming holiday season!

Spent yesterday & today switching out Fall & replacing it with more Christmas stuff than I remembered. This doesn’t count the crates of completed Christmas left over from past years! Yikes! I have a mess!

Spending multiple days packing Fall & bringing out Christmas. Still have Fall in my shows, just not making any more. I have a love/hate relationship with changing seasons! It’s a whole lot of work!!!

Today’s craft show at Camp Christopher wasn’t like last year. Don’t know if it’s under different management or the different day (Saturday instead of Sunday), but the turnout wasn’t at all the same. Last year there were student performers throughout the afternoon which brought in families & friends to watch the students, then walk through the booths of vendors. None of that this year.
Yes, Mother Nature played a part with the cloudy skies & chilly temperatures, but the organizers made major changes that brought fewer people in.
Probably won’t go back next year, unless it appears to be more like it was in 2023.

I’m in a lighting mood today. I’ve put together 3 very different lighted arrangements & 1 lit pumpkin As always, let me know your thoughts!

These will be with me this Saturday at Camp Christopher from 1-7pm.

While the cat’s away, this mouse has been VERY busy! I started & completed all of these today!!! May do 1 more…more likely not. I have to clean up the mess that is currently my kitchen & dining table.

I just found out that a show on 11/23 that I thought I’d signed up for, well, actually I didn’t sign up, & is now fully booked. Grrr!!!

So now I have that weekend open. Looking for a replacement, Nov 23 & or Nov 24. Northeast Ohio.

Interested only in shows sponsored by a group that is supporting an organization/fundraising. Not groups that make craft shows their livelihood.

Also looking for shows on Sundays in October & November. (December is full on my calendar.)

Love this story. Had to share. Even if the last horse I rode got spooked, bucked & threw me off. Spent 2 nights in the hospital for broken bones. Bob & I had barely started dating, so very glad he stuck around!

Just up the road from my home is a field with two horses in it. From a distance, each looks like every other horse. But if you stop your car or are walking by, you will notice something quite amazing. Looking into the eyes of one horse will disclose that he is blind. His owner has chosen not to have him put down but has made a good home for him. This alone is amazing.
If nearby and listening, you will hear the sound of a bell. Looking around for the source of the sound, you will see that it comes from the smaller horse in the field. Attached to her halter is a small bell. It lets her blind friend know where she is, so he can follow her. As you stand and watch these two friends, you'll see how she is always checking on him, and that he will listen for her bell and then slowly walk to where she is, trusting that she will not lead him astray.
When she returns to the shelter of the barn each evening, she stops occasionally and looks back, making sure her friend isn't too far behind to hear the bell.
Like the owner of these two horses, God does not throw us away just because we are not perfect or because we have problems or challenges. God watches over us and even brings others into our lives to help us when we are in need.
Sometimes we are the blind horse being guided by the little ringing bell of those whom God places in our lives. Other times, we are the guidehorse, helping others see the way.
Good friends are like this. You don't always see them, but you know they are always there.

It’s funny how perspective can change.

I went into Saturday’s show in Little Italy not expecting much & was excited for Sunday’s show in Strongsville.

To my pleasant surprise, Saturday’s show went really well. Sunday’s show had a change in leadership & was drastically different from past years, & not in a good way.

I’ve been reminded, once again, that even previous experience doesn’t necessarily mean anything!

I’m set up and ready for YOU to come out to Strongsville Metro Parks at the Chalet! The band is marching in as I’m typing this!

There will be numerous students showing off the skills of Strongsville High School students throughout the afternoon.

The event runs from 12-4 TODAY!

Saturday, I’m back at Tony Bush Park from 11-6. It’s in Little Italy in Cleveland.

Sunday, I’ll be at The Chalet in the Stongsville Metropark supporting their arts & music programs. This show runs 10-4.
