Well I guess that helps out when the giveaways that I do since everybody earns entries by the more that they put into it to try to help me get seen by the public and everything.... But having that actually occur where Facebook is actually doing that for me in reality is kind of creepy....

Supremely grateful artist today! We've been to Hobby Lobby twice this past week and my Boo Larry Lee decided to let me grab some supplies that I really needed there's never enough I always need more lol I probably have more than anybody else you'll ever find but I always need more.... Now the paint though that came from Jerry's Artarama I mean the oil paint the Charvin... That is a world-class premium brand and I have $400 worth of it sitting right there in those four boxes. The tubes themselves are about half the size of normal ones but they are so good and so pigmented that I probably will never use them up there will be enough for the rest of my life most likely. I'm hoping to add the other four collections because these are different sets... Pinks, reds, one of the blues, and purples... I had a really great art sale in the past couple of weeks I didn't even have to try people just started looking and buying and it worked out really well for me. I've wanted these paints literally been salivating over them for a year now thinking maybe sometime I can afford one set I wasn't expecting to ever be able to afford four of them plus a couple of extra goodies from there all at once and I even got a free gift another premium brand paint so I am crazy happy right now. I bought this brand specifically with the smaller tubes because I might have to go to an inpatient rehab center after my surgery to remove the cancer in my stomach which will probably be removing the rest of my stomach as well you know it's kind of sucks but it's okay I had the same surgery very similar back in 2015 but that tumor wasn't malignant and this one is. It's about the size of a tennis ball right between my stomach and liver just barely invading both of them so I will lose one lobe of my liver also probably It's okay I have four more... I have my first iron infusion in 2 days time which is good because it's so low right now It's too low to even do surgery safely and we're still trying to hopefully get into the only surgeon in our city who has the skills to be able to pull the surgery off otherwise we're going to have to go to Dallas. We've already been contacted by both Baylor and Methodist about setting up appointments but that's a 2-hour trip so we're trying to get this one guy here in our town because he's just as good as any of they are so that if I end up having to get a feeding tube I will probably have to go to inpatient rehab otherwise I will be having in-home rehab with my physical therapy and nursing care and everything coming here and then when I need to I go to the Hope Cancer Center which is where they will take care of the rest of it all of my hematology issues and if they decide that this time I will have to get chemo and radiation. Hoping not it's a slow growing tumor so at least they know it's not going to like explode and take over everything quickly or anything like that it's probably been growing in there for years but it's been making me really super sick for the last year. An entire year of feeling so bad that I couldn't even make myself go to the doctor if you can imagine. But anyway we're on a roll now we're about to get it done, we are in the process of building a brand new art studio indoor and outdoor and the very last of our renovations is going to be an outdoor gallery so that on nice days I can set everything up outside and it will be open to the public and can be seen from the road and our neighbor doesn't have any problems with us putting a sign up letting everybody know that the gallery is open. So we have a lot of really exciting things going on here right now. It's hot as hell in Texas but being as anemic as I am I get cold so it's actually working out pretty well for me but I need the iron infusions quickly because I have zero energy Just absolutely nothing. So I'm ready to get the ball rolling. Get that part taken care of so that they can go in and get this out of me I'm ready for it to be gone.... Wish me luck, my peeps!

Just had a thought that I wanted to share. It's okay to have a pat yourself on the back moment every now and then, So that's what I'm going to do here..... I realized the other day that almost every person who has ever purchased, won in a contest giveaway or found an abandoned piece of my artwork owns more than one pieces. There are more than half a dozen who own more than 10 of them 5 people who own more than 20 and one person who owns approximately a hundred.... I stopped counting his a long time ago.

I am currently at painting number 705 completed. There are several new ones in progress. This has happened in the space of about 5 and 1/2 years. With no training whatsoever and only because of a father's final wish. Well not only anymore that's only how it began. My Daddy was right And he knew who I was Well before even I knew who I was.

And it's a beautiful world. Because I can create whatever world I want right out of my head. One that's a whole lot more beautiful than the real one that we live in today.

Hey guys I'm trying to figure out how to unpublish this page temporarily I've done that numerous times in the past with several pages but it looks like they've taken that option away while on their own business suite app for it

Several people have really tried hard to help but unfortunately what happened is I don't use this page anymore and haven't for a long time except for basically posting things while they're in progress and chatting about art stuff and things like that and a lot of posts that have full price price tags on them or they're from an old sale or they don't even exist anymore because they sold 3 years ago are being shared rather than the sales posts which is the full post on my profile which is the only way anybody knows that anything is even on sale so when people are seeing things and seeing a $300 price tag for something that I'm willing to take $50 for or I've put no price on it at all because I need the money so badly for a vehicle right now that I'm willing to take anything if you just offer it literally just offer me a dollar go take $1,000 painting No you can't have the ones that are that expensive $4 but there's a couple things Yeah you can get her a dollar or two seriously and that's actually my regular price for like some of my smaller pieces you can get them for that little but when you share a post with the full price which might be $10 for something that small people are like I'm not going to pay that I'm not interested and then they don't look at any of your other work. They don't share. They definitely don't buy.. I am also going to shut down the sale because of this unfortunately as well because I don't think it can be recovered at this point. Not if I can't unpublish the page so it's not visible for a while so that when the groups and my community pages see this and they're thinking okay go to her art page when my art page is being run by Facebook who's ruining everybody's pages making it impossible I don't get notifications People don't get notifications that I've answered and it looks like I haven't So that's just too much for me to handle between now and next weekend so I'm going to sell a whole lot next weekend I have a feeling I'm definitely going to try to you anyway and I always sell like gangbusters when I do live events so fingers crossed that I'll have that experience also because this was also likely going to be my last vendor event because if you haven't figured out yet I am sick I have cancer it is metastatic This is going to be a long recovery kind of process and this was kind of my last chance sort of thing we need a car we don't have a vehicle just a Honda scooter right now so I guess I'm going to be coming home from surgery on a scooter unless my sister-in-law is at home and if she is she'll definitely give me a ride. Just so you know I have come home from surgery so I'm not scooter in the past so yeah I will do it again It has been highly recommended that I not but I've done it and I will because if I got to get home I got to get home...

But this isn't working guys I'm sorry thank you for those people who were trying to help out It just come back Saturday unfortunately. All I really want to know is how to turn off visibility and I can't find it I have clicked on everything so all I can do is make this notification that I can't be doing a sale right now I'm sorry I'm going to go delete my post in the Chapel Hill Community because they're totally confused now and I'm totally frustrated

It suddenly just hit me like a ton of bricks that I have to figure out how to choose pack up and display enough of my work on one 6 ft table.... I'm the one that back at the Strada Cafe when you paid for $10 for one table somehow or another they always ended up giving me an extra because I have a lot of paintings. A lot that people want to see and want to buy so this is a doozy. I'm thinking maybe having some of them in my rattan boxes that I normally keep my blank canvases until I'm ready to use them and I'll put the extra paintings and items in there and put them under the table. The email specifically said white table I hope they don't get irritated with the fact that my table is black. I'm sure they won't. But I might have to get this tail and like try some different setups or no maybe not I'm just going to play it by ear like I always have because somehow or another it's always worked out. If I go trying to make it all where I know exactly what I'm going to do then that would mean I have to take my table which is my event table out of my cottage which is currently being used as yes my kitchen counter since we're still renovating out here so that's just too much of a pain in the butt. They all pack into these rolling trunks though and I'm not sure where those are going to go I'm hoping to maybe borrow a car because I'm sure they're going to want the big rolling boxes to be stored somewhere else because they would take up room and I really need the room underneath I really really do. And I need to find somebody that has grid walls because I need the room to go upwards.... So that's what I need. Please please friends send up all the prayers you have send all the good jujube good vibes say a spell if you want and that's what you believe. I'll take every bit of it and thank you thank you. It's going to be fun I'm glad I'm going to be doing this....

Hey guys I'm going to be posting a lot of my art for sale in the next couple of days and I have a show coming up on the 17th in Whitehouse, Tx.... It's going to be a pretty cool little art and music festival y'all should come out! I'm only going to have a table this time but I'll have a lot of stuff out there and for great prices because we've got to raise some money to help with my cancer treatments that are coming up because I just got diagnosed with stomach cancer that has spread to my liver so I'll be having surgery soon and we need to be able to have our car running right now all we have is a Honda scooter which is okay but it's kind of painful for me to ride back and forth so I'm having a huge sale... Would love it if my friends would like my page invite your friends and share my sales posts That would mean more to me than anything else in the world. Blessings to all of you!

Sorry guys I didn't get a chance to list anything for sale yesterday online time just got away from me I had a surprise visit from my third daughter that was so amazing and the visit from my friend who brought me the framed with somebody I've been friends with since 2015 we bought a car from him at one of the dealerships here in Tyler and we all kind of got to be friends and that's really unusual to have two surprises visits in one day and then we were working on something things around the house finally got my door on I haven't even looked at it from the outside yet lol we've got to scrape the paint off of the windows but I think it's going to look good... I'll post them and paintings for sale later today It won't be all of them it will probably take me a few days to list everything that we've got in the rest of it well as much as I can squeeze in we'll go to the show on the 17th and I'm so excited! I will be posting a link to this festival so that you guys can see what it is where it is and when to come by and this one's just in Whitehouse so is so central to where so many of my friends that are local live it's perfect even better than if it was in Tyler I think. So I'm hoping some of you will come by.

Waking up not feeling the best physically quite yet hopefully that'll turn around sometimes it does but I will get as many of them listed as possible. If there's something you like that is out of your price range please Don't hesitate to ask anyway always ask anyway because you just never know 😘

I forgot how much I loved working outside!

It's just a process that I can't share with anybody quite yet. I don't really particularly like working with acrylics as much anymore but I want the background to dry fast so I'm starting with acrylics I'll move on to oils. But look I finally broke in the studio beast of an easel!

One of my oldest and dear friends from all the way back in fourth grade shared a photo while enjoying some coffee this morning and it has some of my art pieces in the background! This is so cool I'm so happy she shared this with me!

I'm Lisa and I am an artist here in East Texas. A large portion of the proceeds from the sales of my artwork fund an autism charity that I created in honor of my two adult autistic sons and we buy Christmas gifts for other members and friends of their disabled community here in East Texas up to 350 of them and give them out through the ark of Smith County at their funlovers Christmas dances.

I also do lots of giveaways and other fun things here on this page. As well as being a very reasonably priced artist. Almost everybody who has ever purchased a piece of mine has come back for multiple pieces later on. Plus I do art abandons and I would like to form an art abandoned club so that we can have larger activities every now and then.

This page is a win-win to like. Giveaways are regular sometimes pretty large the same as the abandons and items that are purchased? Fantastic prices multitude of different styles and medium uses.

I'm also going to send out invitations to my public art group which is called palette of misfits. It is probably the only Facebook group across Facebook that has no rules and I mean none. This page is blog posting art and progress whenever I feel like posting as relates to art or my pieces in progress and then sales. The combination of three other pages finally put together into one. In that group there are lots of great artists summer season professionals some are amateur some just want to show their grandkids artwork. There are people who find pieces of art at their stores and want to show it off or ask if we know who the artist might be. People who mentor others

People can post our challenges asked questions mentor others or asked for a mentor. Sales are 100% welcome and links to your own personal pages or websites are welcome and encouraged as well. We want everybody to succeed whether you are an artist or whether you are a buyer and yes we have quite a few buyers in that group as well You won't know they're there but they are and they do buy others artwork. You just start having more people remember to put their prices down so that people will know if it's in their range or not. A lot of my buyers have gone over and purchased art from other artists of different styles and vice versa. I do a lot of giveaways on my personal page and I encourage others again to do some more things within misfits prep or raffles or whatever anything at all to help artists of all kinds to succeed. And trust me if you create art in any way and anything that is created is art and happily welcome there.... Anytime people like comment or give praise of any kind... I promise you we need that. It helps our production level helps our motivation and helps us to continue to learn.

Other than the one to the bottom right which is just a balanced out the images so that it wasn't squashing some of them The tree, the roses and the purple flowers at the bottom which is one of the very first things I ever did so it's number is pretty low If I ever get famous you know what that means... Anyway these are three possible choices for the winner or winners of the upcoming giveaway. The purple one is my choice. It is 16x20 acrylic. The roses are 12x12-in oil on burlap and one of the hardest pieces I've ever done actually and the tree is on 10x10-in Canvas board. Those two were chosen because of specific mentions about those paintings by two people who commented on some recent posts. If there is something specific that you would like me to consider as being one of the choices absolutely please let me know which one that is can't promise but what a good promise if that's just the thing you have to have right now I am about to order some canvas prints because of some sales going on and I've heard that they are pretty darn good looking in the prices are amazing right now so also if there's any pieces you want they are less than the originals obviously and several of them have been edited to highlight colors or details etc and for instance and 11x14 I can get for 30 to $35 shipped it cost a little bit extra if there's a dust cover or hanging hardware little things like that or day also come with frames available That is just canvas prints they're also acrylic and metal with different finishes or sometimes can be printed on other items. Smaller sizes are even less. If anybody wants any of my previous pieces also let me know because any sales I get right now whether it said my artwork gemstones or anything I put in the marketplace is going to raise the level of whatever painting the highest level giveaway I will do. The highest price giveaway I did was three pieces totaling to $750 for the three.

Also some of the higher price pieces I'm considering doing a raffle on it will be one that will continue on until it hits a minimum amount but can be entered for as little as a dollar and sometimes I'll probably even run promos for two for One and that gives people a chance at winning pieces that are $700 to $2,400 which is the highest price piece I have right now depending on which one I do I raffle on if people might be interested in that please please let me know cuz I absolutely will get it set up here online and I'll probably contact this local coffee house that said they would be happy to have my artwork there and see if they would let me hang it there and advertise it there as well so maybe it would add up quickly. Something like that would result in a really really good giveaway if I ended up doing well on that end. The last time I had a good sale I did a 27 painting art abandoned in Tyler. That's right over 3 days 27 paintings top value was about $350. Total value was several thousand. And I had a blast and I love doing that kind of thing and if I just got some of my current needs taken care of I'd probably do something like that again cuz I have currently more pieces of available that I have ever had at any given time and running out of room so that's why I haven't painted much lately. Need to get some sales have some giveaways have some fun so I can create some more and keep spreading my work as far and wide as I can.

So guys pick some pieces you'd like to be considered as giveaway choices I will probably have more than one winner again. Choose some pieces if you are interested in for some prints I also leave a link to my Pinterest boards where all of them are at and you can download or screenshot any of those and if it is clear enough I probably can do a print for you and work at the best price possible.

If anybody is interested in doing a raffle whether it be on one of the smaller not as expensive maybe $250 range all the way up to the much bigger higher price pieces or more than one at any given time please let me know and let me know that you would share to your friends and coworkers. Same thing as usual if people got others to join in I would probably have incentives where people would be able to get extra entries because I just like providing little ways for everybody to be able to be involved and even some people who might not even have a single dollar might be able to earn an entry into a raffle. And maybe I would be able to make enough money to get what I need to do the vendor events so that I can actually start making some money again and being able to go back to buying gifts for my son's charity and providing for the needs I have to continue building on my tiny home maybe get it paid off so I can put the extra room on at some point and be able to move my studio back out here. Maybe get my repair done on my car so I could finally drive again. Little things that add up and being disabled and on very limited income I rely on the sales for anything extra and the big thing is the charity without sales I can't do it and that would result in the third Christmas in a row for hundreds of disabled adults and I just can't even fathom at this point. So the big thing is the vendor display pieces and fees for a show or to to get back in gear and that would probably level things out again or hopefully. So that's one reason why I do these giveaways because usually it comes back to me so I'm really hopeful right now. I need it and people out there need something fun and add a range right now and right now art just is not a priority purchase but it would be a fun thing to win right? Lots of fun for me to be able to give also and I meet people and make new ideas for new pieces in every person I meet literally whether it's online or in person.
