Once again, I love helping people but spending 2 hours a day on the phone telling people how to fix their bike is not helping me pay the bills, nor is it helping me to go home to my wife and kids any earlier every night. Effective today, if your bike has been diagnosed and you have not put down a parts deposit within 1 week to begin repair I will start charging $10 per day storage. I can not afford to turn down work that could be in that spot while you get your money right. Thank you for being considerate. Edited to add:I am not unreasonable, but dropping off a machine and then going ghost after diagnosis is made and expecting me to store it for months while you get your money right is both unreasonable and inconsiderate to the customers that have the money to pay for their repairs but I can't get them in because shop is full of ghosts.
