Honoring the cooler weather by playing with some fall flavors and came up with these. Caramel Apple Oatmeal Cookies. Not the prettiest cookie, but they taste like apple crisp in cookie form! Crisp on the outside chewy on the inside oatmeal cookies with apples, white chocolate and caramel bits.

Showing up to a birthday celebration with a peanut butter chocolate cake: Very mindful, very demure. (Yes, I know I’m late on the demure and mindful trend. I’m an elder millennial from the nineteen hundreds, leave me alone!)

Did you know that today was National S’mores Day? Neither did I! So it was pure luck that I made a batch of these big loaded s’mores cookies filled with gooey marshmallows, milk and dark chocolate, and graham cracker bits.

A fantastic Dino-four birthday!

Tonight’s edition of Baking After Dark- very large sourdough cinnamon rolls with maple cream cheese frosting. My kitchen smells like heaven and it’s taking me every ounce of willpower to not eat one right now!

Still working out a couple kinks in the recipe, but these big s’mores cookies are absolutely ridiculous!

2 out of 3 ain’t bad! And I would argue that the birthday girl is in fact thriving! Happy belated birthday, Rylie!

A sweet little wildflower cake for a milestone birthday.

Big a$$ cookies are the perfect treat for teacher appreciation or any time! These cookies are super thick, chewy and weigh about a quarter of a pound each. Featured in this box are double chocolate, white chocolate strawberry, and sweet and salty- a browned butter chocolate chip cookie with toffee, pretzels and a sprinkle of sea salt.

We may have cloudy skies for eclipse day in Texas, but at least we can use it as en excuse to eat cupcakes!

A “death to 20’s” birthday cake. A delicious and beautiful way to welcome a new decade.

The event doesn’t have to be large for the occasion to be big! A sweet little blue velvet cheesecake cake (yes, that is a cheesecake sandwiched between 2 layers of cake)with cream cheese frosting. Perfect to celebrate a private wedding.

You need this king cake in your life! Homemade, not too tart, not too sweet raspberry filling with cream cheese glaze (it’s really somewhere between a frosting and a glaze, maybe we’ll call it glosting).

Snow/Ice day mimosas and homemade cinnamon rolls. I’ve been experimenting with sourdough and these rolls were made with sourdough discard, I poured some heavy cream into the baking dish before baking to make them incredibly pillowy soft and topped them with maple cream cheese frosting. Stay warm and safe, everyone!

I love when a customer tells me “just make it look pretty.” I took this as an opportunity to practice palette knife flowers and love how it turned out!

Is cutting and individually wrapping caramels my favorite part of the treat making process? No, it’s not. But these bourbon sea salt caramels are worth it. Chewy, sweet, salty buttery goodness!
