Blessed and thankful for the amazing team we have at The Salvation Army of Tyler. Tonight we celebrated them and had our Christmas party with great food from the Venue at Cantina and some fun games, laughter and fellowship. God has been so good by bringing this team together and we can’t thank them enough for their service. Thanks again team for all you do! Y’all are the best!

Tyler Salvation Army hosts children’s fashion show The Tyler Salvation Army family store held their first ever children’s fashion show in honor of national Salvation army week.

5th Day of Salvation Army Week our family is having a Children’s Fashion Show! All the children did great and they looked wonderful! Their favorite store to shop at is …. The Salvation Army!! We also had our Emergency Disaster Rapid Response Unit outside handing out free hot dogs, chips and a drink!

Come by and see us for Salvation Army Week this Saturday, May 20th! We are going to have a children’s fashion show and you will be able to buy the outfits! There will also be food and drinks while supplies last! You will not want to miss it so come by and support The Salvation Army Family Store as we fight to help those in need!

Yesterday, this young man, Kyson, came by and donated blankets to us for our shelter. How did he pay for those blankets? Well, Kyson set up his own lemonade stand, sold that lemonade, and then used that money to buy blankets for The Salvation Army shelter right here in Tyler!
Thank you Kyson for being such an inspiration to all of us and for making this Christmas a warmer one for those who reside with us.

Registration for The Salvation Army Angel Tree is fast approaching!
We will be registering Tuesday September 27th- Friday September 30th, and again on Monday October 3rd- Wednesday October 5th.
We will start at 9:00 AM and will be accepting the first 100 people a day. Please DO NOT bring children with you.

Must be a resident of Smith County
Open to children under 12 and adults 65+

Required documents:
-Valid ID

-Proof of custody is required for all children you are enrolling
Acceptable proof is:
social security card,
Medicaid card,
birth certificate,
or school ID.
(only 1 test piece is needed)
All household bills:
Electricity bill, water bill, cable bill, gas bill, phone bill rent,
car note, Insurance

Income for everyone in the household:
TANF, SNAP/EBT, SSI, SS, child support, current pay stub from work

Children's clothing and shoe sizes and gift wish

The 12th Annual “Tee Off for Toys” Golf Tournament will be held on Monday, November 7th, 2022, at the beautiful and scenic Hideaway Lake Golf Course.

Hosted by the Tyler Professional Firefighters Association, this four-player scramble benefits The Salvation Army’s annual Angel Tree program. Each player is asked to also bring an unwrapped toy ($10 and up value) with them on tournament day.

Registration begins at 9 am, followed by a Putting Contest beginning at 9:30 and an 11:00 am shotgun start. Prizes will be given for 1st place, 2nd place, 3rd place, closest to the pin, longest drive plus other course games.
