Fluids are the lifeblood of your vehicle; that’s why it’s important to inspect them regularly, and keep them changed at regular intervals, as the manufacturer recommends. Call us today for an appointment.
As the school year kicks off, let’s make sure your vehicle is ready to handle the daily drop-offs, pick-ups, and everything in between. We know how important it is to keep your family safe on the road. Bring your car or truck in for a back-to-school vehicle inspection. We’ll check your brakes, tires, fluids, and more to ensure your ride is smooth and secure for the busy school year ahead. Call for appointment!
A fresh cabin filter helps your A/C (and heater) work at top efficiency. Replacement is usually very quick, and is part of your vehicle's regular maintenance recommendations. Twice a year is common; more often if you drive in dusty or wet conditions. Have us check it for you the next time you come in!
Keeping your vehicle clean is a great way to visually inspect for leaks, wear, or a broken component. Many parts give clues to their condition, and if they're covered with dust or mud you may not know they're failing until they actually cause a breakdown. Get your vehicle washed regularly so you can see what's up.
Vibrations in your brake pedal are a sure sign of a needed repair, and SOON! If possible, stop the car in a safe place and have it towed in, or call us for a tow. You don't want to take a chance with potential brake failure; prevent damage, injury or worse by having the vehicle inspected immediately.
Some of the quick oil change places do exactly that...change only the oil and filter. Usually, your manufacturer recommends other maintenance like chassis lubrication or other filter replacement at the same interval. This deferred maintenance can cost you money. Come and see us for the proper maintenance for your vehicle.
Tire wear can accelerate with wrong tire pressures, but worn steering or suspension components can also create unnecessary wear. Get the most from your tires, and have us check your pressures, alignment, and component wear.
Brake fluid needs to be checked; not only to make sure it's full, but also to make sure it's clean. Hotter temperatures can ruin brake fluid, causing a spongy pedal and other issues. It's a "best practice" to have the brake fluid changed at least every 40,000 miles, and sometimes sooner as recommended by your vehicle manufacturer. We can handle this for you; just give us a call!
Clean filters and the use of fuel additives can help your vehicle to run its very best, and save you money on fuel. Come see us for your regular maintenance, and make it a habit to have these items checked at the start of each summer, winter, spring and fall!
For many, summer means trips to the lake or campground, pulling a trailer. If you pull a trailer with your vehicle, your transmission becomes subject to severe duty. It's a good practice to have your transmission fluid and filter replaced before every towing season, and at least at the lighter-duty manufacturer recommendation.
Heat can cause many failures on your car or truck, mostly to any parts that have some rubber in them. Your serpentine belt is extremely important on your engine, as it can assist in running the water pump, the alternator, and other hydraulic pumps for steering or braking. If it breaks, you're pulling over and done for awhile. Check it for wear, or come on in and we'll check it for wear.
Most manufacturers recommend oil changes based on either the number of miles, OR the passage of time, like 90 days. If you can't remember your last oil change, it's time now. Come see us!
We can count on the Sun during the summer, but you can also be sure to see the pop-up storms as well. What shape are your windowshield wipers in? It's a good idea to check them often, like every week when checking your tire pressures. If they streak the window, or are frayed at all, it's time to replace them. We're happy to check them for you, if you like!
Higher outside temperatures can mess with your tire pressures. It's a good habit to check your tire pressure each week for best wear and fuel mileage. Consult your owner's manual for your car's proper pressures, or stop by and we'll show you what is recommended.
It's summer; the kids are in the car...a LOT! Many people know to winterize their car, but you should also summarize it, too. Make sure your vehicle is safe to drive by coming in for a safety check of all systems. A small price to pay for peace of mind!
Beat the summer heat! Do you remember when you last had your A/C serviced? A quick check of your system, and a recharge of the proper freon will keep your interior cool and comfortable. Call us for a preferred service appointment.
Have a safe and happy 4th!

For your safety, anti-lock brakes are installed in your vehicle. There is even a handy light on the dash that will let you know if there’s an issue. By going for regular brake pad replacements and fluid checks, you can extend the life of your brakes and avoid any unexpected surprises. Don’t forget to ask about our special brake package!
Is your car heating up too soon? Are you leaving a wet trail behind your vehicle when you drive? What about a wet spot where it was parked? Hoses under the hood keep engine coolant contained. They are subject to wear from aging and heat cycles, so they should be checked regularly for leaks and cracks. A faulty hose will strand you if it starts leaking while you’re out on the road!
Working hard under the hood, your vehicle's serpentine belt handles ALL the accessory functions and keeps your engine cool as well. A small crack or tear can turn into a catastrophic loss if it comes apart on the highway, stranding you! Be like your serpentine belt and play it cool; just give us a call for a check-up on your vehicle.
Routine maintenance is a key part of owning a vehicle. The calendar and your odometer are the best indicators of when to have your vehicle serviced. If you’re not keeping track, maybe a maintenance plan would help you get the most useful life from your present ride. Let’s talk!
We eat several times a day. We fill up with fuel a couple of times per week. But how often do we top off the fluids in our vehicles? These should be checked weekly and replenished or changed as needed. We can show you what your car needs and can service its filters at the same time. Not sure how your fluids are doing? Give us a call!
Is your car making a squeaky noise? What about smelling differently than it did before? Have you been putting off repairs because you don’t know if it is the best decision? We are here to help! Come on in and let us know what issues you may be having, and how long you expect to keep this vehicle. We’ll help you to make the right choice!
A “Check Engine” light on your dash is an indication of a failure in one or more systems. If the Check Engine light is flashing, that means you need to call us immediately for maintenance. If it is a solid Check Engine light, it might be just a sensor, or it could indicate a mechanical failure that needs immediate attention. When you see the light, play it safe. Call us so we can find and fix your issue fast!
