From sister sally. Fab gardener in CT. Sending some pics of the garden. Sorry to be away the next two weeks when it will be peak as the roses come on but here’s what it looks like now. Everything seems to like these warmer winters we are having. Rhododendrons were gorgeous but now on their way out as the Mt Laurels and the climbing hydrangea hit their stride the Beauty bush in the back of the pool is huge and smells wonderful. Foxgloves are reaching for the sky. The smoke tree is ready to smoke😄everything went crazy in a beautiful way.

A new Mason Bee Condo unit in progress. All our mason bee housing units are one of a kind. Sunny day in the mountains. The bears will wake up soon. There go the bird feeders. I use serious heat to bend metal. The bears use a paw as an afterthought. Strong characters even after months sleeping off the fall berry buffet. Mother bear and cubs come out of the den hungry and it’s shopping time for breakfast. Hide the birdseed!

It’s early March in the central PA mountains and we are seeing 60 degree weather. Whaaaat? Spring is spranging! Mason bees generally emerge when the temperature is a consistent 55 degrees or higher.
