As a project supported by Engine | Advocacy & Foundation and the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, our founder, Laura Truncellito, along with other diverse founders, went to Capitol Hill to discuss startup policies with the Senate Committee on Small Business & Entrepreneurship, the U.S. House Committee on Small Business, and the U.S. Small Business Administration. This is an important opportunity for both startups and policymakers to further understand each other’s work and to formulate innovation policies for all.

Face-to-face meetings like these are invaluable. They allow us to bridge the gap between entrepreneurial vision and legislative action, ensuring that the voices of startups are heard and considered in policy-making processes. These dialogues are essential in shaping a collaborative future where innovation can thrive.
