About the Company:
growth[period], a fast-growing consulting firm located in Tysons, VA, is seeking a highly-motivated Senior Strategy Consultant to support the firm's federal and commercial clients. growth[period] was founded in 2007 with a focus on assisting clients looking to grow in the Aerospace, Defense, and National Security industries. Since then, growth[period]’s verticals have expanded to include sports, entertainment, and hospitality; digital, cyber, telecom, and cloud; global health and wellness; and construction, architecture, and engineering. growth[period] has also added mergers and acquisitions to its portfolio of services, and acquired a recruiting firm, Potomac Recruiting, to assist clients with talent management. The new hire will be expected to be agile in supporting all of these areas of business.

About the Position:
As a Senior Strategy Consultant with growth[period], you will work in a fast-paced environment and will execute a variety of tasks, from researching markets and customer competitors to participating in client meetings and attending industry events. Duties will include researching local, regional, national, and international market conditions to determine potential sales of our customers’ products and/or services, conducting market analysis and competitive assessments to support strategic planning initiatives, and keeping up-to-date on industry trends of interest to our customers. Tasks will also include supporting growth[period] clients in the Private Equity and Investment Banking sectors through M+A due diligence projects, gathering information on potential new clients, and identifying upcoming opportunities that fall within client capabilities.
The work completed by our consultants is both internal and client-facing. You will work on and lead projects directly in support of C-suite executives by conducting primary and secondary research and developing client deliverables.

Qualifications:
• B.A./ B.S. from an accredited college or university
• 3+ years in the consulting or federal contracting fields
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Qualitative and quantitative research experience
• Ability to quickly learn and synthesize information from a variety of sources
