Found a Western Screech Owl in my neck of the woods today. He was nice enough to look right at me for a few shots before he flew off for the evening.
The intense stare of a muddy fox.
A red fox stares me down. Bucket list animal achieved!
A Great Egret at Don Edwards Refuge near my home :)
Finally got around to processing a shot I took 2 years ago of Bearhat Mountain in Glacier NP. I am pleased with the end result.
Kettle Pond, in Groton State Forest, Vermont. Taken at sunset with my mini 3 pro.
This one took a while to edit out all the backscatter, but this is probably my favorite solo clownfish shot I got in Coron Bay, Philippines.

Skunk Clownfish in Coron Bay, Palawan, Philippines :) First time seeing this variation of Clownfish. Very cool.
I'm obsessed with clown fish, obviously. Haha.
Latest shot from the Philippines. What is that? It's a Nudibranch, a type of sea slug, and they come in hundreds of vibrant colors and appearances! They can range from about an inch to several inches. This one was about 2-3 inches. Here's a hilarious video all about them. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F7V8DRfZBQI
Nemo number 2! Which do you like better? I like both!
Saw this dude on my 100th dive, here in the Philippines. The dive was otherwise not that exciting, but just before we surfaced, I spotted this anemone, and inspected. To my thrill, I finally saw a clown fish (two actually) in the wild!
These guys are skittish and hard to photograph. You gotta be quick and lucky! They have this symbiotic relationship with the anemone, so one usually doesn't exist without the other. Here's one of the few shots I got of him that actually looked acceptable :) Hi Nemo!
Seceda (Italy), one of the most imposing mountain peaks I've seen. This is a popular ski area in the winter. It was one of the top spots I wanted to hit in the Alps. I had to take 2 gondolas up to this spot. It's an iconic viewpoint, and for good reason. I thought it looked more powerful and imposing in high contrast black and white.
Sunrise over the Grand Canal in Venice from the San Marco Bridge. The sun was extremely red that morning. It was pretty nice to enjoy Venice as the day was just starting, before the crowds swarmed ;)
Another romantic spot in the City of Love. I love the way the light plays through the tight corridor and the stillness of the water.
Venice at night. Such an amazing, yet claustrophobic city. Haha.
Lago (Lake) Misurina at Sunset. My first night in the Dolomites and got a great sky.
Randomly came along this scene as I was driving out of Cortina d'Ampezzo for sunset shooting. Had to pull over and shoot it. Loved the light.
A cloudy morning makes for dramatic skies in the hills of Slovenia, dwarfing the Church of St. Primus in Jamnik.
Looking to unwind? Take a breather and appreciate the beauty of a nice overcast day in Seattle over Snoqualmie Falls.
Way back in 2010 I did a road trip around Utah, photographing some of the amazing beauty of the American Southwest. This image is from an ancient Anasazi dwelling. I went for a high contrast black and white here to really showcase the texture of the rocks. The home almost looks as if it's on fire.
Lago di Braies in Northern Italy is a must see. I've been there twice and it's gorgeous.
A beautiful sunset from Steptoe Butte in the Palouse region of Washington state. Simply gorgeous.
One of my favorite images from my Alps road trip. Reflections of Varenna, Italy, on the eastern shore of Lake Como after sunset.
The mighty Kirkjufell ("Church Mountain"). and I were lucky enough to get a great sunset here during our 2 week road trip around back in August. Such an amazing bucket list trip. Iceland is truly beautiful.
Another puffin with quite the mouthful.

Another cute puffin shot, with a mouthful of Capelin fish.
A puffin awaits its partner coming back with tasty fishes.
