I have been taking photos of them since forever and I am so thankful for it. It is such an amazing feeling to have a family’s unwavering loyalty and trust. Not to mention the privilege of seeing the kids year after rest and be amazed at how they’ve grown year after year.

Being a family photographer is the best hands down guys!!!

It’s funny. For a big amount of 2022 I hardly had any newborn sessions booked. 2023 hit and that’s what a majority of my bookings have been. Believe me, I don’t mind it one bit.

Expecting a baby? Let’s chat!

It’s best to start inquiring with photographers while your pregnant if you’re interested in booking a newborn session. That what your chosen photographer can reserve a few potentially spot for you on their calendar once the baby arrives. This is definitely the best way.

That doesn’t mean to not try to find a photographer once the baby arrives if you haven’t booked. It’s still possible. It’s even possible to get that “newborn look” after your newborn has past the ideal age for a newborn session. Just look at this handsome little guy, he was perfectly content being swaddled at a little over 2 months. Isn’t he adorable?!

The beauty to me of this time of the year is getting to spend quality time with my kids… even if that means I have to harass them to get it.

That’s the reality of motherhood often times. If you don’t fight to make things happen, it won’t happen. Just like getting portraits done for memories with your babies. You need to just make it happen!! Before the time is gone.

It caused me to reevaluate and just basically restructure my life. I needed to get my personal life in order to be able to once again start taking sessions.

With that being said, I am happy to announce that this Saturday I will release my very limited schedule for the rest of the year. yes, very limited. I will only be offering session dates when it is convenient for my family. I hope you all understand. I will share the link in stories this Saturday morning.

I have several amazing clients that have reached out to me to both check-in and to book sessions. If you are one of those amazing people, I will be sharing the link with you first on Friday. If you would like to get on that list of clients to share my schedule with early, like this post and send me a message with your email.

Happy Saturday! I hope all you mamas are making the most of your Mother’s Day weekend by making memories smiling and giggling with your kiddos.

My two favorite things: being with my kids and not being with my kids. That, I assure you state of mind for all mothers.

Life with our babies is without a doubt the biggest life treasure! Hands down!! But man, it’s exhausting. 😂

Make sure to hug that amazing mother of yours and let her know how appreciative you are of her love!

I can’t be made at these random rainy days. It makes for these green hills and wild flower last longer. I can’t argue that!

On a side note, I’ll be a little MIA this weekend. We are celebrating my daughter’s 12th 😲😭 birthday in Universal and Disneyland. Won’t be back till Tuesday. ✌🏽

About last night!! I am so excited. Last night was my first time shooting at this location and it did not disappoint.

These silly kids came to their session with lots of energy. Lol!! There mama was perfect though. She smiled and giggled throughout the entire session. Sessions with kids are bound to not be perfect and that’s OK! Remember, smiling and going with the flow is the best method for the best possible outcome of your portraits. This mama couldn’t have done any better. 👏🏽❤️

Ahh don’t you just love waking up on the weekends to your babies?! That’s actually exactly what I’ve been doing lately. Enjoying every minute I can with my kiddos evils they are on spring break.

I use to give myself… and even my husband a hard time about our habits as a couple after having kids. We’ve never been good at find time for each other as a couple.

Then, in the most recent years, I’ve come to look at things differently. We might not be that couple that prioritizes finding time to go on dates and that’s OK! Cuz we are TIRED 😂 and happy they way we are.

Last night we were getting ready to have the kids go to bed when the news shared clips of families being torn apart. Of the men having to stay behind and the women and children all in a crowd, crying while hoping to make it onto a train.

Well, my son was shattered. He turned right away to his Dad and gave him the longest hug. Having to explain the sufferings of war to an emotional 9 year old, definitely not how I wanted to end my night. That’s sadly the reality of the world right now though. How have we come to this? 😭

I explained to him that what he was feeling emotionally is merely a fraction of what the people in Ukraine are feeling. Then I let him talk and shared that he should use that heartfelt feelings to pray for all that are suffering. So we did, we prayed and we will keep praying every night for all that are inflicted from this war on Ukraine. 🙏🏽

Count your blessings always. Hug your babies a little longer ALWAYS.
