Paksef was founded in May of 2002 as a platform to support academic research and development in science and technology, however we quickly realized that the key to sustainable change in Pakistan is to return to first.principles and address issues at the grassroot level. Which include primary formal and informal education, basic health, nutrition, which includes access to clean drinking water. To learn more about Paksef and to help support us visit www.paksef.org.
An inspiring story of Noman Rafiq and his ice-cream cart library disseminated stories that are read allowed in the narrow alleyways of Lyari town in Karachi. All this made possible by the work of Nusser Sayeed, Founder and CEO of GoRead.pk
GoRead.pk is one of the causes we at Paksef have been fiscally sponsoring for well over 3 years now. To learn more about Paksef's commitment to GoRead.pk and to support this cause with a U.S. tax-deductible donation go to: https://paksef.org/paksef-and-goread-pk-sign-mou-for-promoting-reading-in-pakistan/
For us at Paksef it's heartwarming and an honor to be partnered with an organization that's making deep inroads in developing the young hearts and minds of Pakistan's🇵🇰 future, "purposeful storytelling builds a child’s character and brings out the traits for success in life” said Nusser Syed.

The relief campaign is aimed to support flood affectees of Uthal, Lakhara, and Orkie for starters.
The priority is to collect donations for medium-term rehabilitation for now as most have lost furniture, utensils, etc. We are helping with rations too, but these are perishable and many organizations are focusing on them.
