Dreadful Gooz

Usually, when people think about the term soulmate, they think about a lover, but I'm a firm believer that their are different types of soulmates.

Me and this man were, still are, and will always be soulmates. We could look at each other and know exactly what the other was thinking and feeling.

Today in America is Thanksgiving. It's a day for us to give thanks, and although I have many things to be thankful for this Thanksgiving, I am especially grateful to call this man my best friend for well over a decade.

This past Monday, I looked at you in the physical form for the very last time. I played the part of Paul Bearer and helped carry you to your final resting place. You fought long and definitely very hard. Cancer may have taken your body from this world, but it never took your spirit. It can never take away all of the nights we spent together and all of the memories we made.

Where you are now, there is no more suffering and no more pain. I don't know when but I'm sure we will see each other again someday, my friend.

I loved you then, I love you now, and I will love you always. Rest in Power, my brother

Been taking time away from music to enjoy some much needed time with the little one. I've been on tour for the majority of the year and unfortunately had to miss out on some important things, but we were still able to plan and enjoy a kick ass anniversary trip. 🤗❤️

This was such a wild night. It was definitely a tough one to play, being surrounded on all sides with no room to move in a venue packed to the brim, but the crowd was absolutely insane. I'm glad my vintage b**h made it out of that show in one piece.

Got a lot of work to catch up with in the studio after all the touring. Gonna get started with setting up some guitars to have them ready to track some sick riffs and solos.

Never thought I'd play a flying V on stage. 😆 long story short, my main guitar broke during the end of the 3rd song, and my backup wasn't ready yet sooooo I went backstage, asked for a guitar, and this is what I got. It held up and got me through the show.🤘🏾😎🤘🏾

Goozilla Jr. is enjoying a much needed break. This is the first tour I've done where this hasn't been my main guitar every night, but regardless of that, you got to make sure you maintain and service your guitars out on the road or in the studio that's why I always got my gear handy to tighten em up.

I never thought I would be so excited about an Amp case, but man, this thing is awesome. Not only does it look sick as hell and different from other Ata style cases, but it also has some super strong latches.

The problem with most Ata style cases is that the latches usually get messed up and then start to break or bend. These latches are strong as hell, and I don't see them giving out anytime soon.

It's literally the perfect fit for my amp, and with the inside padding and tough exterior, there's no way my amps are getting damaged.

I can't say this enough. are the best pedal boards on the planet. My buddy turned me on to these almost 2 years ago now, and I've been using it on tour nonstop over the last year and a half. 165+ shows and counting all over the world.

No more stupid velcro, and I can switch pedals out on the fly, which is something I've had to do in the middle of a set due to gear failure. These are a must for any professional musician and for any hobbyist alike who wants to experience different pedals.

Well I was hoping to use both of these axes on this USA tour but my B**h didn't even make it past 3 songs before having a "Malfunction".

I've had the axe for at least 5 years and never had an issue, but of course, it decides to s**t the bed on tour. I mean, the guitar is 40 years old, so guess I can't be too mad. I've got some replacement Kahler string hooks on the way to get it back up and running to finish up the rest of the tour with it. Keep yall posted

Haven't been home often in the past 4 months due to the constant touring, but it was nice to spend one last good weekend with my lady before heading back out on the road.

An original 5150 cab. This is gonna pair nicely with my 5150 Block Letter. A lot of people hate the Sheffield speakers, I personally haven't used them in a recording setting, so I'm excited to see if I can make them sound good in the studio.

Gonna be taking this one out on the road, though, in a few days, so let's see what I get out of it in a live setting.
