Monday, July 29, rising Junior Hunter Cooper ‘26 and LaunchNET Program Manager Jamey P***k attended the annual Folds of Honor fundraiser event at Barrington Golf Club ⛳
Hunter supplied the commemorative plaques given to each donor group and customized cigar ashtrays for each participant. He spent the day handing out ashtrays during the course and met many John Carroll University alumni who participated in the event. At the same time, Jamey served as a volunteer caddie for a veteran-led group.
The two combined to create a gift package with a custom live-edge cutting board and a bourbon package.
Folds of Honor provides scholarships to the families of military service members and first responders who have been killed or disabled in the line of duty. It is a top-ranked charity, with over 90% of donations going directly to scholarships.
The Northern Ohio Chapter of Folds is led by alum Tom Agresta, who works tirelessly each year with his family, employees, and chapter board members to put on this amazing event.
