Contracts have all been returned and we are ready to start seeing Jex back in Action.

PM for waiting list and we will start with those contracts first in the case that a contract may not fill and I will carry it over to 2025 as well if requested.

Now that Summer is home and the fast pace time of year has settled, Jex will be back with Summer this coming week to get cleared and vetted for the Rodeo road w her.

We will be doing some special contract opportunities throughout the 2024 Breeding season, so keep an eye out for that.

-Just a reminder to anyone who has submitted a set of mares papers. If your mare is in someone else’s name at time of breeding, that name will go on the stallion report. This could make things difficult for transfers etc.

This is your final reminder to take advantage of our reduced nomination fees. If you've been waiting or forgot, this is your sign!

December 31st will be the last day you'll be able to nominate any horse regardless of age, for the reduced nomination fees of $250 for horses 2 and younger and $350 for 3 and older.

I have went through all the posts and scrubbed how many placements in a round you got correct. If you guessed Lisa for position 1 you got 1 point even though the others weren’t in correct order or if you didn’t guess all ten rounds, it was your points you guessed right on. So based off of how many positions you guessed correctly for is how you guys were picked.
We had a 3 way tie for 1st and a 3 way tie for the runners up.

This 24 year old, one eyed, buckskin gelding needs no introduction. He has made Kadence’s dreams of winning at a p*e wee level come true. There hasn’t been a race she entered that she didn’t win something w her “man”
This horse will only go as fast as his rider is ready for but not fast enough for Kadence as she has stepped up to youth. This horse needs a little girl he can carry and help build confidence for.
This horse knows the barrel and pole patterns and can seriously do them blind consistently every run without knocking. He has done sorting, roping, and was an old high school rodeo horse.

In a herd he loves the ladies and will pick a little at a gelding but not bad by any means

He gets ridden by a little girl and has never complained or taken an off step so I dont do any maintenance on him what so ever. He is so quiet and cautious of his little people that you have a built in baby sitter.

He only eats good quality hay w mineral blocks. He is such an easy keeper even for 24. He surely has a good couple of years to get a 3-8 year old kid to their next level as well.

He has been there done that and is legged up ready to go. There isn’t ANYTHING that phases this horse. Anyone who gets on his back will have a guardian angel carrying them and the safety of a child has no dollar amount.

Keep in mind if you are on the fence about breeding to him after NFR Qualifier, Summer Kosel starts promoting him his price will never be this low again.

Sneak peak of how their first run together went

Summer recieved Jex around 2 am on a sat morning and was able to get home, let him rest, rode him later in the day, got a little feel for him, decided a snaffle bit was what she was going to like best to run him in and than Sunday morning was able to take him to a race.

They came in pretty hard, slightly overshot first and when he came back, made up for it with 2nd and 3rd being beautiful and all without pushing or asking him anywhere. Their first run after less than 48 hours of having him landed them 6th with a 14.901 putting them 1 spot out of the money and the winning time was a 14.633

*side note- Jex has only ran a hand full of races his Futurity Year, than promoted for 7 months his Derby year, with a couple of the months off for breeding season. His full potential has yet to come 🥰 as well as being a stand out all around Sire.

Thank you Lisa Miladinovich for giving back to the ones who believe in you and slick. It’s the little gestures that go a long way and it surely sets investing in you and your program above the others. Thank you and we will always do our best to help promote your program. It has been a heck of a year and can’t wait for more to come.

As most of you know we have been a little quiet lately about how Jex has been doing after coming home from the Pink Buckle.

God has laid it on my heart to just get the courage to keep trying to get a pro runner to take a chance as Jexs Jockey. With 40 head of horses back home, Running a business in MI and teaching my kids I knew I wouldn't be able to ride him and promote him to his full potential. He and everyone who has invested and believed in him deserve him to get the best opportunity possible.

I was turned down by some pretty powerful names in the barrel industry without even letting me say much of anything and as discouraging as that was God really didn't let me sleep that evening. So early the next Morning I knew I had to talk to a pro runner who was already a believer in Aint Seen Nothin Yet.
This is when I sent a message to Summer Kosel asking if she would consider promoting A stallion by ASNY, knowing the pro girls don't typically ride outside horses and I know I would have to be willing to cut some deals for this to happen but non the less he needed to get into the right hands. Summer is a co owner in Im Goin For Broke and will be promoting and Jockeying Jex from now on.

As for Breeding contracts go he will still be available to the public Mar 1 - July 1 and will make sure everyone has collection station details before then.

With this being said If you have considered Jex as a future Stallion Prospect we will be accepting contracts until Dec 1, 2023 at an early booking fee of $1500 plus collection and shipping. This will only require a $500 non refundable deposit to get on his books and the rest to be paid in full by time of shipment. Once we hit Mar 1, 2024 his books will be closed.

After Dec 1, 2023 His stud fee will be increased to $3500 Plus Collection and Shipping

We will be offering multiple mare discounts as well as Proven Mare Discounts

For 2024 Incentives Jex will be enrolled into the following

-The Diamond Classic
-Tomorrows Legends stallion
-Minnesota Futurity
-Open Arrow Incentive Fund

Finally Jex may have a possibility of making the trailer headed to the NFR as a possible back up if he shows to have had enough much needed rest by the time Summer heads to Las Vegas. Summer is a great advocate for a horse and Wont push him for the sake of a run and will be making that call in the near future. With sadness that Jex may not make the trailer this year I truly believe it will show what God really has in store for them for the 2024 Rodeo Season.

I hope this gets everyone a little more excited about choosing or is considering jex as a up and coming junior stallion. We sure do appreciate everyone for investing and taking an interest in Im Goin For Broke

This was a complete surprise😍 Jex and Ashley Peterson set us in a good position for the NRF Tour, than switched to myself as his jockey making a total of 3 out of 10 races, we were able to hold onto a top 10 spot in the Derby for the 1D.

Kadence is 9 years old and Jex is 6 years old.

With some tough luck and a down barrel Jexs Youth rider couldn’t have handled it with better horsemanship. The compliments from very respectable individuals in the barrel and ranching industry was a bigger win in her books. She was a little upset w herself but after people came and told her it was nice to see how she nicely took him onto the next barrel and slow without whipping and kicking all the way home, she quickly had a big smile back on her face knowing she got noticed more for good horsemanship than a clean run.

A huge thank you to Paula Fowler for the comfortable facility and sharing all your knowledge. Most of all thank you for believing in Jex and what we are trying to accomplish.

Her story is beyond a miracle

Never underestimate the power of a mother

This mare has been empty for three years and as of last year her hind gut tucked up and it looked like someone put a rubber band around her, right in front of her hip. After multiple vets looking at her we still never figured it out. She is one of our best producing mares and was a shame she would possibly never have another foal.

I exposed her to Yuma Driftin Pine last year and as most know a mare losing weight rarely will carry a foal along with her long back making her prone to her uterus sinking in further which in turn pulls everything else in and down. This makes it easy for bacteria, wind sucking and just an unhealthy setting to grow a foal. after exposure to the stallion we took her home and after about 4 months she had chunks that looked like oatmeal coming out of her.

This mare clearly had something going on in her uterus so once again back to the vet. Did an ultrasound to look for a baby and nothing was found so we went on to do a UTERAN LAVAGE 😳😳 we flushed her uterus out and so much crap came out it wasn’t funny. We did not give lutalyse to open the cervix THANK THE LORD. she was placed on antibiotics and I was going to take her back to stitch her up part way so less bacteria could get in there but she picked up and was doing great.

She looked fit but no where near pregnant at 25 years young she foaled the greatest gift a mare could give you, a daughter to carry on her legacy
