Mrs. Delaware American
Mrs. Delaware American celebrates empowering women of all ages. Delaware American will compete
One of my favorite organizations to support...GALS That Give!
Love this event. The 11th annual GIRLS WITH PEARLS gala. So proud of these amazing girls and the wonderful guidance given them by Kamika Bell!
I absolutely love state costumes! I might have to start creating them for other queens on a regular basis. So fun!
Luminous Creations
I LOVE this event! Bringing awareness to the plight of the Monarch Butterfly, which has recently been added to the endangered species list. I met some adorable kids that will be planting milkweed seeds this winter so that the monarchs have food when they return from their long migration to Mexico for the winter.
Always an amazing experience. Party in the famous Elvis suite at the Westgate. Once in a lifetime experience.
The Loneliness Project evolved from a desire to make a difference. As soon as I saw the Surgeon General's advisory about the loneliness crisis, I knew I had to do something. No matter the outcome of the national pageant, I will continue to do whatever I can. I have learned much, felt much, and been inspired to be a positive force in the world.
Having a supportive "pageant husband" means the world. I love doing causes together.
The Loneliness Project wasn't planned. I saw the Surgeon General's advisory on the loneliness crisis that was published on May 3rd, three days before the Mrs. Delaware pageant. I wondered if there was something that I could do as a title holder. And so it began....
Love this collaboration with my husband, Larry. He restores beautiful classic Corvettes. And together we support a variety of causes through charitable fundraiser cars shows & cruises.
The benefits of pets:
Reduced stress, anxiety, and depression
Encouragement of exercise and playfulness
Improved cardiovascular health
DECREASED LONELINESS
Improved emotional and social skills in children
Companionship, love, and support
Improved mental and physical health
Boosted immunity
You don't have to ask me twice to talk about what I'm doing with my title! Advocating, supporting, and fundraising for mental health resources, and my loneliness project. Any opportunity to raise awareness about the loneliness crisis I will take.
Thank you Susan Liebesman for a wonderful sendoff party. You make us feel very special.
Vegas here we come!
Wonderful night at the DuPont Country Club with the Gals That Give. Tonight's event benefitted Children and Families First!
I had a fishbowl full of challenges to reduce loneliness. So much fun watching people actually try them in real time. Things like:
Find a childhood friend & reconnect
Flirt with someone in person
Talk to strangers
Introduce yourself to 3 new people
Compliment someone (must be real)
Call instead of text (for the next hour) AT LEAST!
Make plans to see someone you haven’t seen since Covid
Turn off your phone for 15 mins, 30 mins, or an hour
Meet someone new…right now
Join a Facebook group that actually gets together
Call an elderly relative for life advice
Sign up for a volunteer opportunity
Talk to an older person
Plan an activity night with your current friends (in person, nothing online)
Ask 5 friends to tell you something that you don’t already know about them.
Name 5 things that make you a good friend
Just to name a few...
One of the BEST advantages of pageantry...sister queens! And this little sister is wonderful. We ran into each other at the dogoodathon. She's advocating for homeless youth. LOVE IT!

I can't say enough about my experience at the Do-Good-Athon.
What an incredible day at the Do-Good_Athon. I was there with my loneliness project, educating people on the loneliness crisis and offering a fishbowl full of challenges to reduce loneliness.

DELAWARE QUEENS at the Hockessin 4th of July parade!
Happy 4th of July everyone!
So honored to be asked to mock judge for interview prep of some amazing women. And so proud of their stellar performance in their pageants. Thank you Deborah Purnell-Butler for allowing me to be a part of their journeys, I know they will all enrich the lives of those they touch!
Happy Memorial Day everyone. We honor & remember those who served.
Fabulous night with the Gals That Give, raising money for the Exceptional Care for Children. A non-profit care facility that improves the lives of medically fragile children and their families through skilled nursing, transitional services, and palliative care.
Drop by Woodside Farm Creamery for one of their pink homemade ice creams! BTW Peppermint chip is ridiculously delish. 100% of the sales of pink ice cream benefit Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition.
