Our Storytellers Abroad Missions Multimedia Workshops Brazil students met for the first time yesterday to catch the missional spirit of ABWE and begin their technical training for their media trip to several of our missionaries serving in Brazil. They’ll be on this short-term trip for the next 2 weeks and working through a rigorous program. Pray for them as they serve the Lord with their talents in South America!

When Christ sent his disciples to “the ends of the earth,” there was no doubt he had places like Papua New Guinea in mind. Since 1974, Goroka Baptist Bible College has graduated nearly 500 national students to be pastors, teachers, and Christian leaders throughout the country. A lot has happened since 1974 and expansion is needed to keep the ministry growing and thriving! This summer, ABWE is launching The Goroka Project to help build a new clinic facility, theological training facilities, and additional classrooms to help teach and train more students for the sake of the gospel. Learn more about this project and where we're heading next! 🚧 https://loom.ly/wTMb9Uk
Hey there friends! If you’re a pastor, Bible teacher, professor, lay leader or small group leader, I have an opportunity coming up at ABWE I wanted to share a reminder about.
On May 16th and 17th our team is hosting the International Theological Education Conference where we’ll be discussing how teachers of the Word of God can impact the nations through teaching other believers hungry for God’s Word but need more training around the world.
We’ll be hearing from our keynote speaker Dr. Craig Ott from ReachGlobal and discussing opportunities to go farther for the sake of the gospel.
Registration closes tomorrow for this event! We’d love to see you there if you have a passion for teaching God’s Word to others. Get the details: https://www.abwe.org/serve-church-through-international-theological-education

Easter Sunday represents the pinnacle of our faith as Jesus triumphed over death and made a way for us to be with him. This triumph changed the lives of his 12 disciples, who because of this amazing hope began the work of missions. He is risen! Hallelujah! Happy Easter!
The crucifixion of Christ is the central pivot point of world history.
What the Criminal Understood The story of the criminal crucified next to Jesus testifies of God’s grace—and compels us to carry his message of forgiveness throughout the world.
It's Good Friday. We should be pondering Jesus' suffering on the cross for our sins and the immense weight of his sacrifice, but I wonder if you have ever paused to think about the two criminals who died next to him. Jesus put the gospel on full display even while dying on the cross. Watch the full message here: https://resources.abwe.org/good-friday-sermon/
Salvation has come! As we reflect this Holy Week, may we ask ourselves what are we doing in our personal lives, our families, and our churches to tell others of this salvation freely available because of Jesus’ death, burial and resurrection.
"Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion! Shout aloud, O daughter of Jerusalem! Behold, your king is coming to you; righteous and having salvation is he, humble and mounted on a donkey, on a c**t, the foal of a donkey." Zechariah 9:9
The church planters of tomorrow are living in your home, attending your church, and found in the harvest. Now more than ever, we need the church to disciple believers and send them out to the lost in need of Jesus. Join together in prayer to see more people come to faith in Jesus on the Day of Prayer for Church Planting. Commit to pray this spring: https://www.dopray.church/

With the Lord’s help, Andrew and Mary Ward and Daniel and Sherri Lethers are hard at work building Studios Vérité as an evangelism and discipleship ministry in Southern Togo. Studios Vérité exists to share the truth of God’s Word through leadership training and resource development. The availability of smart phones in Togo exploded during COVID, and the hunger for Christian audiovisual content is great! “The potential is endless,” says ABWE missionary Daniel Lethers. The Lord has brought a generous partner to this $35,000 project who is able to match up to $17,500 through March 31st.
The building is complete, and the team is looking to fill it with equipment and interior necessities like sound proofing! Would you consider a gift to this impactful evangelistic ministry and help us meet this match opportunity the Lord has provided? https://loom.ly/1DjTVSk
